Captain Orlando Bennett had been forced to accept the long overdue promotion. He was now a major and no longer in command of the 2nd Company, Kings Own Regiment. That honor had fallen to Lieutenant Sava Joy, one that she readily accepted and approved by Major Bennett. Bennett had been assigned to a special task force, at the request of the Queen, that at the moment had no assignments. So far it was a desk job and Bennett was hating it.
Two weeks into what had become total boredom, Bennett received an encrypted message that gave him directions to a town in the southern mountains named Corlbell. Bennett didn't recognize it, even when he looked it up on the grid map. There was a please attached to the request and Bennett figured that maybe it was Tera, who had disappeared from his flat shortly after the executions. Then his thoughts went to Azuria Grimm, the Chief Medical Officer, they were on equal levels now and maybe she was done with whoever it was was occupying her time before. Either way, he was intrigued and made arrangements for a shuttle to that tiny town. He didn't know how, or who, knew that he'd arrived, but not more than five minutes after exiting the shuttle pad, he received another encrypted message that directed him to a transport vehicle parked two blocks away. The message also included the code to activate the vehicle and mapping directions to drive into the hills. It took him an hour before the map instructed him to turn off the road onto a dirt track. That led him deeper into the woods and he was beginning to think this might not be a tryst, but something else. He immediately thought about who could be mad enough at him to ambush him. He also felt a little better feeling the push of the PP-18 he had in the back of his waistband.
Suddenly there was a gate, with a stone wall in front of him. The gate was open and the instructions told him to park in front of the house. It wasn't a house. Not a cabin either, it was what those in the right circles called a residence. Single story, with a center entrance and what looked like wings on each side. There was a circular drive with a patch of grass in front, but otherwise, the entire area was trees. He had no idea now who could be behind the messages. Making sure the PP-18 was firmly situated, he climbed the four steps to the door. The instructions told him the door was unlocked and to just enter. He stood there for a moment, his right hand slightly behind him, ready to access the weapon. Using his left, he pushed the door open and stepped inside the dark entrance.
"It's about time you got here," a familiar voice said from the darkness. He heard footsteps and a naked body stepped into the light.
"Sava ..." Bennett said with a smile. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, the round perkiness of her breasts with her hard nipples pointing at him. While the light strip of pubic hair rising from the V of her thighs, seemingly inviting him was too much. He knew he was already reacting.
"Stop staring and start undressing, at my count, I owe you for three times ..."
Bennett pulled his shirt off in one motion and started working on his pants, "And I owe you for two if I recall ...
Sava smiled as she stepped closer, reaching out for the hard part of him that was pointing right at her, "Then it's going to be a busy weekend ..." she said as their mouths met for the first of many times.
