Chapter 1 - Sixth Month

This is the sequel for 'Our Garden Together Finny X Reader', if you haven't read that, please do!

Six months. I was officially six months pregnant.

My belly bump showed quiet a bit already, Finny and I were more than excited to have our little bundle of joy in the world. Finny restricted me from doing stuff I usually did to keep me and the baby safe.

"Good morning (F/N)! How are you feeling?" Finny asked as he kissed my forehead.

"Good morning to you too Finny, I'm doing better." I replied as I tried to sit up. Finny helped me a bit and I thanked him. "Aha, being pregnant is a lot of work!" I joked.

Finny helped me onto my feet and we walked to the bathroom to get in with our day.

"Good morning Ciel!" I greeted as I sat down at the table, waiting for my breakfast.

"Good morning (F/N)." Ciel replied, looking at his newspaper.

Sebastian came by and handed Ciel a plate of food and me a plate, with a little extra food because of the extra little person. I thanked Sebastian and started my meal.

"Eat slower." Ciel said to me. I nodded and tried to eat slower. I had some toast, eggs, sausage, rice, vegetables, fruits and tea. I could have had more though, but it was enough to keep me going throughout he day.

Finny was working in the garden so I sat down and watched him work while eating some chocolate. Soon, Finny took a break and sat by me.

"Do you think we'll have a boy or a girl?" Finny asks as he looks up at me. I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair.

"I don't know, but soon we can go to the clinic and check for the gender." I replied as we looked at the beautiful view of the garden. "You're doing great on the garden."

"Thanks, it is starting to look good. Hopefully our baby can be here to see it in time." Finny replied. He leaned forward and kissed me on the lips. I smiled at him and continued to look at the garden.

"Even if our baby doesn't get to see it, they always have next year." I told him.

"You're right."

"Yes, thank you. I look forward to it!" I said as I hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Finny asked as he sat down and held onto your icecream.

"I just called the clinic, I set up an appointment for next Tuesday so they can reveal the gender of our baby to us! I'm so excited!" You walked over to finny and kissed him before taking the ice cream away from him.

"This is so delicious! I love ice cream!!" I exclaim as I continued to scoop ice cream into my mouth. Finny put his arm around me and I cuddled into his chest while I ate the ice cream.

"Don't eat too much ice cream. The baby might upset." Finny said, I looked at him and huffed.

"Fine~" I replied as I licked the ice cream off my spoon and closed the lid to the tub of ice cream. I handed Finny the tub and he kissed my forehead before he got up and went to put it in he fridge.

"I'm tired Finny." I whined as he came back.

"Do you want to go to sleep upstairs?" Finny asked as he helped me into my feet. I nodded and he held my hand and he helped me up the stairs. I took one step at a time to be careful.

We almost made it to the top, but then I slipped on a stair and fell forward, good thing Finny was there to hold me. When we made it to the top he let out a loud and long sigh,

"What are you going to do without me (F/N)." I chuckled and kissed his cheek and waddled away to our room.

I changed into a more comfortable outfit and laid down on my side of the bed. Sleeping was a struggle for me because my belly would be in the way. Finny soon joined me in bed and we faced each other.

"I love you." I whispered to Finny. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"I love you too. Goodnight"

Today was the day if the baby gender appointment, Finny and I got ready and left to go to the clinic. We sat there and waited for a few minutes before we were called in, I could tell Finny was nervous by the way he held my hand but I let him know it would be okay.

The nurse told me to lay down on the bed and I did as I was told, she put some gooey stuff on my stomach and placed a camera stick down on my belly and moved it around to get a good spot.

"There's your baby!" The nurse said. I looked to Finny and we smiled at each other. "Are you ready to hear the gender?" She asked as she gave us a smile.

We nodded our heads, "More than ever!" I replied.

"Okay, it's going to be a--"
