Although not officially dating or anything at the moment, Liko x Dot could be considered somewhat semi-canon/canon after something that happened recently...
So a few days ago (I think), I think there was some sort of interview that involved Minori Suzuki (Liko's Japanese VA). And this is just going off of an X post but at some point she said something along the lines of "I feel like the relationship between Liko and Dot is a bit deeper than just a friendship"
One thing is that she is now a Likodot shipper which is great to see (we always need more of them) Another thing is sure there have been instances in the past where Pokémon VAs have been supportive of ships (such as Sarah Natochenny liking Satogou art on X, Diego Becerill (Goh's Spanish VA) appearing in Templo Satogou videos, etc) but what's different about this is that Minori is Liko's Japanese VA. She probably sees everything that goes on in the background of making the episodes and maybe this might be some kind of teaser...
I know a lot of people say "that will never happen" because of LGBTQIA+ stuff, but Pokémon has started to become more inclusive over years. They've stopped asking if you are a boy or a girl in the games and in Scarlet and Violet there are gender-neutral bathrooms. We've even been getting more and more androgynous designs over years and more ship teases between characters of the same gender.
There is always a possibility it might end up canon...
