Ziiiiiip. Click.
Negascott finished zipping up his jacket as Wallace and him stepped out of the apartment and started the walk towards the church.
"So, guy, you think you can talk now?" Wallace spoke up.
"Yeah, I'm basically fully recovered this morning! I feel pretty rad." Negascott responded confidently, puffing up his chest for a few moments as they kept walking.
"it's good you're not sick anymore. Now you can get a job." Wallace joked.
"Hey! I'll get a job on my own time, thankyou-very-much." Negascott groaned with an eyeroll, continuing on to answer Wallace's question "But my name is Negascott, if you couldn't tell by my, well, everything." Negascott gestured at himself.
"Well that's... very on the nose." Wallace eyed him suspiciously.
For the past two days, Wallace had been taking care of him, now he had made a full recovery. He wasn't sure how to feel about all this. what was he supposed to think about Wallace Wells? He was distracting himself mostly, trying not to think about today, the funeral.
He hadn't been doing much but sleeping and gaming. But now that he's better he'll have to get out, won't he? He's starting to dread it.
As they turned the corner and the church came into view, Wallace started again, "So what's with the outfit? Don't want anyone recognizing you?"
"Yeah! that exactly, how'd you know?" Negascott chuckled, this morning, he had the mind to disguise himself a bit, putting a facemask on and a dorky beanie Scott used to wear. Will anyone recognize him? He has the exact features of Scott besides his hair, skin, and eye color. Even his voice was almost same, even if he had a different tone than Scott.
"On a more important note, where'd you come from guy? I didn't know Scott had an evil twin."
Negascott sighs at this, putting his right arm behind his own head. "Dude, I don't know, and I'm not really his twin. I was nothing and then I was something. I thought I was just the manifestation of Scotts insecurity. But if that were true, I should have disappeared when he died, so now I'm clueless why I'm here."
"Well, I won't kick you out now that you're better, though that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try to get a job." Wallace reminded him as they came to the steps of the church, Negascott exhaled in annoyance, but silently agreed, Wallace pushing open the ornate door open to let him in.
It was quiet, naturally, it was a funeral, and Negascott slipped back into thought as him and Wallace stood there. People were going up and saying a few words. Shouldn't he have something to say? He felt he wouldn't have anything to say that would be truly positive. He knew most of what Scott knew, even if it was a bit fuzzy and honestly knowing everything Scott has ever done makes him kind of dislike him. However, another part of him felt some sort of... feeling... love? Yeah, No. Not exactly. But he cared for Scott, he's the one all his memories are comprised of. He tucked his head away from view. Let's just hope this would be done with soon, he was starting to feel annoyed already just thinking about Scott, how could he go and get himself killed? He was such an idiot... He was his idiot.
Thats enough thinking about Scott.
The door behind them creaked opened and Ramona stepped through, he pulled his facemask up even more. Of all the people in Scott's life to see this was one of them that made his stomach churn the most from how Scott last interacted with her. At least she wasn't skating through his dreams.
"Ah, Ramona Flowers? Surprised to see you again, especially here." Wallace greeted her to Negascott's chagrin. Now he has to talk to her.
Ramona walked over to them. "Uh hey, I just felt a bit bad I guess so I decided to come. There was something I was going to say to him, and I never got the chance... uhm, who's that with you?" Ramona asked, her hair changed from the last time Negascott saw her.
