Negascott opened his eyes calmly, waking up from sleep. He was so full of feelings this morning, it was... a lot. Who would he even... Wallace? No, he doesn't want Wallace. Maybe he does, but he wouldn't be his first pick. Who would be his first pick?
"Hey Wallace, what's the ideal kind of guy to you?"
Wallace opened his eyes from sleep. "Well, for starters, it's not someone who steals pillows in the middle of the night." Wallace snarked, grabbing his pillow back, interpreting the question a little differently than Negascott intended.
"Sorry dude, it just happens..." Negascott slid out of bed and wandered into the bathroom to brush his teeth. "But I mean, I've just been having these thoughts a lot, residue from Scott secretly being a tad... hmm, how do I put it..." Negascott stops himself. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to tell Wallace of all people about the occasional gay thought or two that Scott would have.
Wallace perked up slightly. "Go on...?"
"I er, actually, there's somewhere I need to be!" Negascott grinned nervously and winked at Wallace, who looked back at him with a confused expression, Negascott waved goodbye quickly as he sped over to the door and quickly shut it, jogging down the road immediately. Honestly, he could also definitely use a stronger form of transportation, not just for running from almost saying something dumb. Something like Ramona's skates would work well, but he can't skate.
On another note, Spring was just around the corner, but it was still chilly, he hurried down the road. His face mask was trashed from the previous day, he could use a new one. Hopefully nobody would notice him. Even if they did, he was different enough that at a glance they'd probably not realize how closely he looked like Scott. He still has a stop he needs to go to first though.
Negascott stepped up to the door and took a deep breath. Well, the more people that knew him as different from Scott the easier it'd be to live here. He opened the door hesitantly.
...
Knives let the last chord she played ring out into the air. Breathing heavy, she sighed and leaned up. "How... how was that?"
Young Neil gave a thumbs up, but didn't lift his eyes from the game he was playing. "prettttty gooood guys."
Kim leaned back into the sofa, her usual even-tempered demeanor not faltering. "I think you're getting better. Especially since a few days ago."
Stephen sighed in relief. "We're... we're improving?"
"Knives is improving." Kim corrected him, causing him to slouch down.
Knives grinned in excitement. "Maybe I could be a part of Sex-bob-omb? That would be so cool!"
"Actually, I think I might take a break from the band for a while." Kim bit into a stick of pocky casually.
"Wait you're leaving...? But we won't sound the same without you! We need you!" Stephen pleaded out nervously. The band was falling apart, first Scott and then Kim?
"It's okay! Just a break right? And we sounded pretty good just us together, didn't we?" Knives turned to Stephen, a smile of reassurance beaming on her face. She then turned away from him to talk to the greater group. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick guys. We can practice a little more after, be right back!" Knives danced over to the doorframe and swung around out of view.
...
Negascott huffed out his anxiety, no time like the present. The door creaked open as he walked inside, he shut it neatly and stepped into view of Kim and Stephen.
