Guide book of being a teen

first day

"FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL JOY!!! WAKE UP" yelled mom
"Okay thanks mom" I said

Hi my name is Joy, Joy Robinson ,I'm 15 years old and im a very weird girl, my dad left me when I was 8, and I never had a boyfriend, I am African American. And I hate black coffee.

"Are u okay darling?" my mom said while she's coming up the stairs
"Yeah I am, I'm just really nervous" I said nervously.
"Don't worry every thing is gonna be okay, I finished high school and I am here right?" She chuckled

We both hugged, then she left
30 minutes later I was ready, I raced down the stairs.
"Are you gonna eat breakfast?" Mom said
"No thank you, bye mom"
"Bye sweetie, have a great day" she said

My thoughts: how will my first day go?!? Will anyone notice me, what if no body does like a tiny bug behide a huge slug. Or will my day go perfect like a ocean breeze. Will I fit in. Who am I kidding I'm pathetic.

I arrived to school Eastern Likehan Academy, the school was huge and the colors were red white and blue like the color of the U.S flag. The people here were normal but weird there were many cliques: cheerleaders, Goths, populars, nerds, gamers, preps, jocks.

I arrived to class, science class homeroom, the class was bright with many chemicals and sections of rows for science labs

"Hello class, take a seat, my name is Ms.Fisher"
I sat in the back of the class
"Joy can u come sit in the front" said Ms.Fisher
"Um o...k" I said nervously
People started staring and whispering

5 class periods passed by and school was over
I was finally home, school was not that good I mean it wasn't bad
I called my mom....dialing....
"Hello darling how was school?"
"It was great!!" I said lying
"Okay that's great!! I will see you when I get home"

My thoughts: I can't believe i lied to my mom, school was horrible I felt weird there, but I had to lie I didn't want to give her trouble while she is working at a coffee shop.
