They both snapped at their trance and both continued to eat. Mina can see nayeon smirking at her and mouthed something which she can't comprehend. The silence in the dining room was broken only by the gentle clinking of silverware against plates. Mr. Chou, his gaze fixed on Y/N, finally spoke. "You know, my daughters have been working on something very important – a program to help people who need medical care. They've been putting a lot of effort into it, and they believe you could be a big help. Your involvement would mean a lot to them, and it would also be good for my reputation." He paused, letting his words sink in. "They've prepared something special for you to see, and I think you'll be impressed."
Mina and Tzuyu raised their eyebrows, clearly confused. They had no idea what Y/N was talking about. Y/N, however, just smiled kindly and nodded.
"Sure, what is it?" she asked, her voice so soft it made Mina, Nayeon, and Sana's knees go weak.
Sana looked to Nayeon for permission to speak, and Nayeon gave a quick nod. Sana then handed Y/N a folder filled with papers.
"As our father said, we've been working on this for a while now," Sana explained, her voice brimming with excitement. "We want to help people who need medical attention, especially surgeries. We want to help those who can't afford it, especially children and the elderly" Helping people was Sana's dream since she was a little girl, and this project was a big deal to her.
Y/N carefully looked over the folder, listening intently to Sana. She nodded, liking the idea. It was clear how passionate Sana was about this project.
"It's a wonderful idea," Y/N said, her eyes sparkling with genuine interest. "I've always wanted to do something meaningful, and this project seems like the perfect way to do that." there was a pause before she spoke again "But, how does this involve me?"
Sana was about to speak when Nayeon placed her hand on top of sana and looked at her making sana stop.
Nayeon looked at Y/N, her expression a mix of hope and a hint of desperation. "We're hoping that we can get you to join us," she said, her voice laced with sincerity. "We've approached multiple surgeons, but none of them are willing to help since it's pro-bono. Of course, we have Sana as a plastic surgeon, but we also need your expertise."
She took a deep breath and said, "We know this is a big favor to ask, Y/N. We get that you have your own job and stuff to take care of. But this project means a lot to us. We genuinely believe that with your help, we can really change the lives of these kids who really need these surgeries."
Nayeon looked Y/N in the eyes, showing how important their mission was. "We've been working on this for months and we're stuck. We're running out of time and resources."
"I'm in. I can also ask some of my friends at the hospital if they want to help, especially Alex. He's a pediatric surgeon and is a big softie when it comes to kids," Y/n said with a smile.
Sana squealed with excitement, stood up, and went to hug y/n. Y/n was startled but then hugged her back.
The hug lasted for a minute when Mina coughed making them pull away.
Sana can see her glaring at her but decided to shrug it off. "Thank you, Y/n, you don't know how much this means to us."
Y/n smiled and was about to speak when Mr. chou spoke up "That's great then! I will hold a press conference introducing you two as my daughters and this project that you are doing. This will be a positive news for my image. Especially Y/n is also participating in it." He then said which made 4 of his daughters raise their brows. Was his mage and power is all he cares about?
