I know you guys love me a lot aur woh main aap logo ke comments padhke hi samajh jaati hu.
So, yesterday something terrible happened and I thought that I should share it with you all as my loyal readers you have the right to know.
Yesterday one of my readers informed me that someone had copied my story and published it on her profile. So, I went to the mentioned profile and clarify the information myself. I was literally shocked to find that indeed my story was copied and copied means A to Z copied. Only the book cover and character aesthetics were different, other than that every single word was copied.

I have blurred her name as I don't want to humiliate her directly. Also, she has deleted the story from her account without trying to defend her cheap act.
But I know that this is not the end because this is something I know many authors are facing resulting them to leave the app. However, I don't want to leave because this is where I have started my journey as a writer and get to learn so much with time.
So, today I am telling you all that by any chance you see any Instagram Reels or any story similar to my books, you'll inform me immediately. I will clarify the information and then I will let you know if I need any further help.
One more thing that I have been seen and I really hate, that is some authors promoting their works in my story's comment section. I find it very cheap so I simply delete the comment or if they continue to promote their stories not getting the hint I am giving by deleting their previous comment, I block them.
I mean I get it that my story is getting views and likes but it doesn't mean that it has become a public property for anyone to steal it or promote their work. I have worked hard to reach where I am today, not only that according to me luck is favouring me a lot too.
So, if I see anyone promoting their work in my comment section or my profile I will report those accounts. I have had enough but not more. Just because I don't say anything bad it doesn't mean I don't know how to take stand for myself.
If I am the one to write a character like Jivika then I am also the same person who is writing a character like Ritika. I hope it's enough to tell how I am as a person.
