"She did WHAT?!" Thomas bellowed, his voice rising in anger.
The group lurched back from Hailee's twin. Parkinson was the one who confirmed.
"At least that's what we believe —we don't know for sure."
Thomas glared. "You don't know for sure?" His English slipped a bit.
"Well no one actually saw it," Parkinson clarified. "But why else would she ask for you to meet with her at Madam Puddifoots Tea Shop?"
"Because she's mental!" Thomas yelled, "That place is notorious for couples on dates!"
"Yes, well.." Parkinson tapered off. "Please just go." She resorted to pleading. "It's for your sister —who was pushed and is now sick in the Hospital Wing."
"She's WHERE?!""We weren't going to tell him that." Greengrass breathed below her breath.
"It slipped out." Parkinson admitted for fear of Thomas' wrath."She caught a cold," Zabini said. "Which we all already knew, but after the incident Draco and I brought her to the Hospital Wing for safe measure. She's safe and Draco is currently with her."
"Oh, fantastic." Thomas smiled sarcastically. "Not like he's her bloody mate and we don't know what is swimming through his head."
"That's you and Bellatrix." Greengrass said, rather boldly. "Draco, while knowing who Hailee is, doesn't like her like that."
"I don't believe you."
"You don't have to," Greengrass said. "But do this for us, please? For your sister? If it really was Patrica wouldn't you want to deal with it properly before Hailee gets her own hands dirty?"Thomas breathed deeply, making the group lean even further away from him. His long hand pushed into his black hair, ruffling the waves.
"Fine." He snipped. "But if Hailee only fell because Blaise's wards malfunctioned, I'm coming for each and every one of you."
"Noted." Parkinson answered.
Thomas grumbled a complaint minutely slipping his lips.In full honesty, Thomas had planned to go down to Hogsmeade. But not for his sister and not to shop with the money he'd acquired from his family vaults. He had planned to meet his own mate who was scheduled to meet him there in three hours.
Ever since winter holiday, he had been reluctant to leave Bellatrix, and now found himself having to put his sister first.
It was annoying, especially when the others were pleading for his simple help in this matter....But if the bitch did touch his sister, he'd happily put torturing her in front of seeing Bellatrix if only this one time.

Patrica sat in the back table of Madam Puddifoots Tea Shop, her fingers fiddling with the tiny spoon next to the sugar bowl. Her tea running cold as she continued to ignore it.
She sighed, watching the door continuously for Thomas.Patrica had turned to Thomas on a whim. She had been overwhelmed with emotions when she had grabbed Hailee and threw her off the stadiums railings —it had been a terrible act to do. Especially when she knew who would be coming after her.
Patrica worried her lip as she thought back on how Draco had caught Hailee, and how everyone had rushed to make sure she was okay.Hailee was liked —hell, the girl was loved by everyone in Hogwarts. Whether anyone wanted to admit it or not.
And Patrica had thrown her over the railing of the Quidditch pitch in a lasp of judgement. Honestly, why Patrica had turned to Thomas was a mystery to her.
The boy was clearly close with Hailee's group of friends, if not her. And yet Patrica had turned to him. Why?
Because he seemed outcasted?
What a lame excuse. She sighed, lifting her cold tea to her lips and pushing past the burning guilt that slipped down her throat. The tea felt like lava on her tongue.
