I woke up rather early I guess. Early for me at least. 9:00 'o clock. Okay maybe not that early.

I yawn and stretch my arms as I ridse from my floor mattress. "Ugh." I groan and plop down back on my bed.

~~~
I start to walk around the Gracious Home store and look around for things I'd like.
I have a good deal of money. The first book I published really helped with that too.
I managed to buy some plants and decor items. Just to make it aesthetically pleasing.
When I get home I start to unpack all my things. I put together my bed frame and set up my room with all my frames and plants and pictures.
Damn. I still need a vanity.
After my room is set up I smile.
I have my bed set up in a corner, the light blue comforter and white pillows matching well.
I have a full-body mirror on my door and floating shelves holding up my books and toys that I can't get rid of because of how attached I am.
I glance at the small, white desk filled with my writing ideas and prompts and smile bigger.
This is now home.
~~~

I finished getting the kitchen set up too. My mom and grandma let me borrow some utensils and I just ordered a couch that should be coming in a week.

I lie on my bed and heave out a sigh after all my hard work. I roll over and grab my phone out when I hear a knock on my door.

I groan and get up. As I open the door my eyes widened as I see the boy from the elevator.

He smiles at me, a singular dimple forming on his left cheek. "Hello. I just wanted to say hi. I'm Ryder. I live in room 401."

I stare at him. He lives in the room across from mine. He's holding up store bought cookies and when he noticing me looking at them, his face goes red. "Sorry I can't bake well. Or at all for that matter."

I shake my head and smile. "No it's okay, thank you. I'm Leilani."

He smiles back at me. "Well, hello Leilani, nice to meet you."

We stand there for a minute. A terribly long minute before I break the silence.

"Would you like to come in?"
