It was still very silent and dark. The only audible sounds on the outside were that of crickets. And inside the room was the sound of soft breaths of the two people mingling together as somewhere between the night they decided to get close while still in their slumber. The bodies were naturally drawn to each other and though consciously they would still feel shy to let their real feelings take the charge, their subconscious feelings would always give in to the closeness their hearts desired. Vegas and Pete slept holding hands and these days they were living the phase of sweetest dreams not only in their sleep but even while they were awake. The weather had turned pleasant with dispersal of clouds and air was always fresh and flowery for them. This fluff like sleep was utterly tempting but Vegas had to wake up. He stretched his body getting up, tied his hair up and then looked at the sleeping Pete. His heart cursed him a million times for the sin he was going to commit but it was imperative to do that. This sleeping beauty had to be disturbed. Today was his first lesson. Although the thought to perfect Pete in sword skills became dominant because of the Amonsak factor and a stubbornness to show Pete how sharp he is in it, the main reason behind Vegas teaching better skills to Pete was to make him more capable of protecting himself at the time of attacks by enemies. Pete's Dominica was a land of sages and saints . Where people always opted for peace and apart from a few times there was never really an attack. Pete had learned his basic lessons and for that he was exceptionally good too, but Alcazar was a different territory and he needed to be more prepared. Henceforth Vegas had to disturb him right now when he was probably having the most comfortable sleep, still holding the hem of Vegas's night robe. Vegas got up, opened the door carefully and went to his room. He got ready with his rough torn clothes . Sword tugged inside the scabbard and roughly stitched boots and hair in a bun. Looking like a warrior he went to Pete's room but opposite to his aura , he looked a little hesitant to wake up Pete. He sat next to him on the bed and called him as softly as he ever could.

"Pete, wake up." But Pete was too deep in his dreams to listen to him.

"Hey, Pete, wake up. We need to go. You promised yesterday, remember? "

"Ummm" Pete let out a long sound before opening his morning puffy eyes. Vegas smiled , thinking how he found these little little things so cute and lively.

"Your Majesty, what happened?" Pete asked, curling his legs up and shifting towards the edge of the bed. His face just rested near Vegas's thighs. Vegas wanted to help him keep it on his thighs but with Pete still under the influence of sleep, he felt it would be a violation of his modesty. He just as always, removed those hair strands off his face and again told him to wake up.

"Why?"

"We are going to have our sword lessons."

Pete got up remembering that. His small yawning in between made him adorable. But then he almost looked upset.

"Your Majesty, it's still night?" He said looking at the dark outside.

"No, it's almost morning. Come on , get ready."

Pete whined, fake cried but nothing convinced Vegas.

"You are bad."

"Yes, I know and also that you will not talk to me? I know . Now get ready." Vegas went out laughing and Pete came out after a while. It was after so many months that Vegas saw him in his sack-like clothes. But Pete looked too beautifully odd for that costume.

"Here"
"This is my sword. I didn't even remember that I brought it with me." Pete said happily while taking it. When he came to Alcazar he was so lost that he didn't even remember about his sword and his scabbard but Vegas kept it carefully.
