Josie was the sweetheart of Millwood. But that didn't mean that she couldn't be bitchy if she wanted to. She also never got mad easily, her mom being a therapist had helped her through some rough times with her emotions. But damn, Karen Beasley really knew how to set someone off.

Josie woke up to her alarm going off. She sighed before checking her phone and seeing the date. September 28th. Her birthday. Josie hated her birthday, All she did was spend time with her boyfriend.
Josie got up and got ready, Today she wore some blue baggy jeans and a red long sleeve shirt. She got her brown messenger bag that she used for school and went downstairs.
Josie lived with her mom in a small house. Josies dad passed away when she was 12 due to lung problems so ever since then it's just been her and her mom.
Cameron was in the kitchen, blending a smoothie with a smile on her face. "Hi mama." Josie smiled, "Good morning my birthday girl." Cameron hugged her daughter, "Not everyday your only daughter turns sixteen."
Josie laughed, "What're you making?" "Your strawberry smoothie." Cameron said, giving it to her.
"thank you." She said before heading out the door, "Hey! tell that boy I said hi," Cameron smiled at her daughter, "i will mama, see you after school."

Josie loved walking, weird right, but she loved how walking cleared her mind. She got to school when she felt arms wrapped around her waist, she shrieked until she heard her boyfriend's laughter.
Dallas Matthews, one of the most popular boys in school. He wasn't in any sports or extracurriculars but he was insanely smart. He was on a math team and is probably the smartest in the grade. No he didn't do anything like sports but he was a social butterfly, and comparing to his girlfriend, she was the opposite. but you know, opposites attract.
"You idiot! you scared me." She said hitting his shoulder, "what? you be scared? nonsense!" he layed his hands on her waist, pulling her into a kiss. "Happy birthday" he said giving her a present, "Hey shhh, what did i tell you about giving me stuff."
"Not to, but... When have i ever listened." they laughed and she opened the little box to see a silver ring with a light pink heart shaped stone. She looked up at him and smiled, "Dal, you shouldn't have." He took the ring, "Well I know how you've never taken off the promise ring so i wanted to get you another one." And put it on her Index finger, on the opposite hand she had a sliver ring with a black stone on her ring finger.
they smiled at each other before leaning into kiss again until, "Oh My God! Josie! Happy birthday!" Karen Beasleys obnoxious voice shouted making the two pull away.
"Karen hey." she said in a fake happy voice, Karen pulled the girl into a hug, "You know, my gift to you. Vote for me! both of you" she said looking at the couple
"Karen no. Thank you, but we really should be going," Dallas said, grabbing his girlfriend's hand and walked away, "Fine. Have an amazing birthday! I bet your dad would be proud." She shouted.
Josie froze before turning around walking to the blonde. "Karen what the fuck is your problem! Does being a bitch satisfy you," Dallas put his hands on Josie's shoulders and Karen and her twin Kelly gasped, but Karen's boyfriend Greg and his Team laughed behind her. Dallas also laughed but he held it in.
"How dare you say that to me, you freak," she said shock all over her face, "Go fuck your father." Josie said before walking away, leaving Karen not knowing what to say.

Josie sighed when they heard the bell, Dallas laughed at the pout on her face, leaning down to kiss her once more. She said sadly, "I'll see you later."
"I'll be waiting." Dallas smiled at her before she walked into her chemistry class, laughing softly.
She sat at her desk in the back of the class and got out her notebook, starting to write what was on the board when her phone buzzed from her back pocket. Josie smiled and grabbed her phone, usually after Dallas dropped her off to her class he'd send her some cheesy poem. But her eyebrows furrowed when she saw it was from an Unknown number.
She quickly swiped on the notification, opening it up:
Dallas is literally the Sweetest. You deserve him.
Josie's looked at the message in confusion and typed her reply : Thanks, who is this?
The reply came quickly: An admirer from afar.
Josie looked up and around the class to see nobody with their phones out.

After school Josie and Dallas walked hand in hand getting to her house, "Are you sure your mom won't mind." he laughed, "Ok one she's at work, and two she loves you." she said staring at him. "Alright then."
"On the other hand, how does your mom feel about you staying over?" Josie asked, he shrugged, Dallas' mom never liked Josie, and she didn't even know why. Neither did Dallas, when he asked, his mom never answered.
They got to her house and ordered food and watched movies. Soon it was getting late so they decided to just head to sleep. Josie's head on his bare chest and His arms wrapped around her.
