The next day Josie was with her boyfriend in the cafeteria doing their history homework and laughing when "Are you fucking serious Karen?" A voice shouted.
Josie and Dallas' heads shot up to see Imogen Adams storming the cafeteria. Josie knew Imogen, they met in freshman year in the library, whenever Josie stayed to be the library's aid.
Imogen and Karen used to be best friends. until Karen threw a party. Imogen and Greg, were caught kissing. Even though, Imogen said Greg kissed her, Karen refused to believe her.
The whole cafeteria silent. Imogen stood at the end of Karen's table, glaring down at her.
"Excuse me?" Karen asked. "Don't play dumb. Like you didn't go to Principal Clanton about me."
"Imogen..." Karen stood up, a fake concerned look "you don't seem well. Are you sure this is the right environment for someone in your delicate condition?"
"Thank you so much for your concern," Imogen replied sarcastically. "but I'm fine." "Your unhinged behaviour indicates otherwise." Karen retorted. "What did I ever do to you? Really?" Imogen turned to face Greg, a laugh leaving her lips. "And, Greg... you piece of shit coward. Will you finally tell her the truth?"
"You don't belong here." Karen spoke up, stepping closer to Imogen. "I am not the only person who feels that way."
Imogen hummed, turning to face the rest of the students. "Well, I'm not going anywhere." She turned back to Karen. "In fact... I'm going to be Spirit Queen, just like my mom was."
"What are you even talking about?" "Aw, keep up, Karen." Imogen tilted her head. "I'm. Running. Against you. And I'm going to win."
Imogen strutted out of the cafeteria, The entire cafeteria was left in shock. Josie turned to her boyfriend, "We are so voting for Imogen." He laughed, "Definitely."

Josie woke up the next morning due to her alarm. she did her hair and brushed her teeth she got changed.
She wore dark blue baggy pants and a black cropped long sleeve shirt with strings that she tied on the back. After she put her black converse on and got her bag, made her some coffee and kissed her mom's forehead muttering a small i love you then walked to school.

Josie was with Dallas in the library when the librarian came up to them, "Carpenter."
"Yeah?" she asked as the couple glanced at each other. "Did you vandalise Karen Beasley's locker?" Mrs. Doyle questioned her. "No. Why would I do that." Josie shook her head.
"Well, Karen Beasley's locker was vandalised with cake and frosting, she is convinced that it was you." The lady explained, "Ma'am, Josie didn't do that." Dallas tried to defend her, "you have detention right after school." She stated leaving the couple alone, Josie and Dallas sighed. "Karen fucking Beasley."
