The charges were dropped when the investigation confirmed my innocence, thanks to Raiden's power.

"We need to continue with the wine business," I said while slicing the meat in half. "I can't let that thing stop me."

William nodded. Bigla nalang siyang sumulpot sa mansion kanina, and already acquainted by Cedric and Evander. Luckily, I was already done showering and was in my room when I met him. I can't imagine how he would react if he saw me coming out of Raiden's bedroom, half-naked after he wrecked me.

"I can't believe you got released that fast. Wala pang isang araw."

"Well yeah."

As much as I want to say that it was actually the prince who pulled some strings for it to happen, I just smirked. "I'm innocent."

Ngumiwi siya at binalik ang tingin sa pagkain. "Hearing it from you sounds like a crime."

"What the fuck, William?" Iritado kong sabi.

"How's the kid doing?"

"Oh, the one you shot?"

"I didn't shoot him!"

"Let me correct myself, the one you involved in your childish play and got shot by Albert."

Bakit ba siya pumunta dito para sirain lang ang araw ko. I know he's still upset about how I got the kid involved with my 'childish' act last day, but it was long done. I already helped the kid, or, Raiden helped the kid, which I'm the one who asked him to help anyway.

"He's doing fine. Thanks to the prince."

"I'm the one who brought the prince there! Technically, I'm the one who helped the kid."

"And technically, you're the reason why he got shot in the first place."

I groaned and rolled my eyes. Whatever! Fine! I lose. It's my fault. I didn't mean to do it! I just wanted to play with William a little. I didn't mean to get into that. And I got framed into being a criminal too! I'm a victim too!

Cedric and Evander stood quietly at our side, their eyes discreetly observing us while we ate. The silence grew thick, making the clinking of silverware louder.

"The food is great," saad ko para ibahin na ang usapan bago pa kami tuluyang magsigawan ni William sa hapag.

"Oh yes!" Evander chimed in with a smirk. "We cooked it extra special today since you're not a criminal anymore."

I twitched my eyebrows. The fuck?

William stifled a chuckle. Cedric cleared his throat and glared at Evander. Naalis ang ngiti ni Evander at nagseryoso muli ng mukha.

"We also added a lot of vegetables to the menu today as the queen requested so His Highness can eat healthier. He's not really eating well these days since he's busy working."

The queen? So, the queen is still treating the first prince like a child? Napahawak ako sa bibig at mahinang natawa nang maisip ang hitsura ni Raiden habang nakain ng gulay.

"Quit chattering, Evander," he said curtly, his voice carrying an edge of irritation. "Prepare the carriage."

Yumuko kaagad ang dalawa para magbigay galang sa bagong dating na prinsipe. William bowed. Pinasadahan niya lang ito ng tingin at tinanguan. I can feel that William is intimidated by him.

Pinigilan ko ang sarili kong matawa sa pamamagitan ng pagsubo ng bagong hiwang karne. I never seen William as a scaredy cat, aside from when we're in front of his father.
