20: Not so grand~Proposal

It was almost a week of dating makxim asked kaira for dinner dates but their schedules were clashing though they met everyday and had lunch in the mansion today makxim has to fly Russia for a meeting again
So he went to the hospital first to meet kaira and she came out in her usual scrubs attire,makxim hugged her and gently pulled her up for kiss now even she is not shy rather they both are very bold with their relationship
"Are you sulking already? You are going for 3 days only" kaira said still hugging him
"Who said that, I'll be traveling everyday...I can't stay away from you"
Came the deep voice of makxim his eyes were closed suddenly Kaira released herself and said with a shocked expression
"Mak.....you don't need to travel back and forth all the way from Russia it's just three days" kaira could clearly see he was displeased so she held makxim's hand and tried to explain again "mak... darling I'll be very very worried if you travel like this and i promise as soon as you return will have a date...." This time mak smiled a bit and looked into her eyes they hugged again "okay.... I'll do as you say but you can't back on your words" he said in his deep voice
Soon he left and managed to video call kaira even she took out time from her schedules and sometimes during her video sessions they use to have a call
Today makxim is coming back it will be in the night and kaira would be at the hospital for her duty so he directly returned to the mansion but the lights of mansion were dimmed he couldn't clearly see anything and the bodyguards also alerted themself as soon as he entered in the big hall the lights were on "welcome back love" it was kaira's sweet voice makxim took a look around the dinning table was decorated from red rose petals and candles it also had some fancy dishes and the hall was also decorated with roses "baby...you did this???" He was bit confused but in his heart he was really happy "you don't like it??... I promised you a date as soon as you come back....this is all...i could..mmmmm" kaira's voice went numb when mak held her and kissed passionately it was a gentle kiss but they continued for few seconds until kaira released herself for some air and looked at him "I am really happy....this is just beautiful as you baby and you are so so adorable i missed you" makxim's words came out in happiness then they sat and started eating soon the bodyguards were scattered to give them privacy kaira also prepared good wine they had it but makxim only allowed a small amount as kaira is not used to it
"You are already looking so cute with that red cheeks" makxim complimented while caressing her cheeks and kaira held his hand brushing it against her face makxim could guess her gesture he came closer made her sit into his strong lap and they shared a gentle kiss then mak gently picked her up and asked
"Are you tired baby?" To which kaira replied still clinging to mak's neck as she was in his strong arms
"Hmmm..I did a double shift,so I could surprise you and we could spend a night together" her voice was sweet and little muffled as the alcohol was effecting,mak stared at her pretty face standing in the position while she was talking and replied
"Why did you exert yourself so much baby?,you could have just come and hugged me thats the best welcome" to which kaira replied again in her sweet voice
"I wanted to surprise you though it's not as grand as you do every time but I know you would love it anyways" he just smiled at her then they went upstairs and both layed on the bed for a while then kaira pulled something from the side table drawer it was a gift rectangular box wrapped very neatily.
"I made something for you,it's not luxurious but i thought you would like it" mak stared at her for a moment and took the box.
"Baby... I'll die with happiness today" saying this he sat and gently started to open the box unwrapping the gift paper it had a dark grey tie but not just any regular tie mak noticed it was an hand embroidered initial in the front area ~M~ which was his initial he flipped it over and it had a embroidered note ~i love you mak followed by a red heart~ his heart swelled up with happiness it was the first time when someone did put so much efforts, in past when he had multiple girls fooling around they did all materialistic things for his money and fame but kaira was different she found happiness in simple things
"Did you embroidered this? Kai" he asked looking at her she was sitting next to him looking at his happy face
"And...do you like it?"
"I love it baby,this is so so special" he replied with a pleasing voice then kaira guided him to open some more things inside there was a hand written note,a red rose and wallet again with a ~M~ initial then mak read the note
~Whenever you feel alone or when we are far away just open this wallet and read this note you will know that
Mak,my love <red heart> I love you... very very much,I miss you always <kisses for you> red heart~
"Turn the note you" said kaira and mak did as she said it was actually a mirror photo where mak hugged her from back and kissed her cheeks he was smiling looking at all the things kaira did
"Baby...all this is so special, thank you so much for loving me" it was mak's words hearing that kaira kissed him and soon they had an intimate love session
Few days passed and they continued there individual works,where always picked her up and dropped her to the hospital they talked on call and video calls
Today was kaira's day off and mak picked her up and she knows mak would take her the mansion so he can pamper her, but soon they reached a unfamiliar palace the the sky was still dark,
"What place is this mak? Aren't we going to the mansion" asked kaira in confusion, mak replied smiling with a deep voice
"I would like to show you something first,i know you are tired with night shift but please bare with me" saying this they got out of the car
the place was an big open terrace lawn from up there they could see it was surrounded by the mountains
The moonlight bathed the open, luxurious terrace in a soft, silvery glow. The terrace overlooked majestic mountains, their dark silhouettes stark against the star-studded sky. The room behind them, with its walls made entirely of glass, provided a seamless view of the heavens

above and kaira was puzzled why was she here at this hour because it's still dark
"Baby...please look at the sky" mak said pointing towards the sky and lightning fireworks started with that it also had some alphabet fireworks
~please be my girlfriend and marry me soon~ looking at the huge sky with all shiny romantic fireworks going on in the sky just for her, she went emotional just then she saw mak was on his knees with a ring
"Kai...baby do you accept?" He asked romantically it was indeed a beautiful sight to watch with all the romantic atmosphere, kaira's heart swelled up with all the happiness
"I am already your girlfriend darling,why are you proposing to Me" she asked with a big smile to which mak slides the ring on her ring finger it was a beautiful big shiny diamond with crown shaped edges and platinum finish
"I wanted a grand proposal but this is the maximum I could do in such a short time" mak said with a pleasing smile
"What do you mean by ~this much~ this place is a luxurious heaven mak"
makxim just smiled at kaira's reaction he found it adorable that she noticed everything about him then he stood up and pulled out another ring and handed it to kaira saying
"It's my turn baby" it was a similar ring with a smaller diamond and broad edges
"Mak,i should have got you the ring,if I knew I would have got one" kaira said with a dull face mask gently held her hand and replied
"Baby...it's the same doesn't matter who does it" and kaira smiled a bit then the private ring ceremony was done and makxim told her he rented the entire place for the day so they must stay here which kaira obviously couldn't deny and the body guards were scattered around.
Both the lovers stood close, kaira gently pressed a kiss on makxim's lips standing in the open sky surrounded with tiny stars.
Makxim looked at her pretty face which was also tired but the urge of intimacy was more
"Baby....can you take a nap little later" mak whispered in her ears kissing them and she nodded in a "yes"
