Mark jolted awake out of intensifying fear, and confusion and visibly in serious agony. His head ached, and he didn't remember anything.
He rubbed the back of his head due to the pain and when he pulled away–

Did he notice blood?

He began to panic, his mind spiraling as he got more and more disoriented. Why was he bleeding? How long was he even asleep? Is he gonna die?
Thoughts were racing in his mind until he heard a creak from outside his closed room door.

He grabbed the nearby gun that was set right beside him just so he could defend himself if needed.

As the door opened, his eyes quickly adapted to the darkness and he thought he saw Cesar.

It was Cesar, and he looked worried for Mark. He hadn't been answering his calls for days, weeks even!

"Mark? A-Are you okay?! Is something wrong? Why haven't you picked up—"

(in my au, Cesar was actually at the hospital with his mother. and alternate only used info to lure Mark in🐺)

Cesar panicked and immediately ran over to Mark's bedside, checking for any wounds or scars.

"Cesar- I'm fine, my head just hurts alot.." Mark says, answering his questions hesitantly. Though he did lie, he just doesn't want Cesar worried. Even if he bleeds out.
