We sat in the car in front of the building as we waited for Scorpion. It was already 8pm and it was raining. Someone knocked on the drivers window, where I sat. I rolled down the window.

"We're here to meet Scorpion," I said. He flashed his torch on our faces, and then inside the car. He looked at us for a few seconds before switching off the torch.

         "Word?" He said harshly.

"Cobra," I said. He looked at us one more time.

"Follow me," he finally said. We both wore black suit coats for the rain and also for whatever business Scorpion was attending. Figured we might as well be professional, not that any of this is professional. We got out of the car only to be pushed on it. He wasn't alone. Two more men searched us and when they found nothing, they let us go. The guy who knocked on the window smirked and said "Sorry, protocols," I scoffed.

We walked towards what looks like a black SUV at the end of the street. They opened the door. It had four seats facing each other inside. Scorpion and Scar were already sitting on the first two. Ava and I glanced at each other before entering and sitting on the other two.

"Sorry for the inconvenience," Scorpion said referring to the search earlier, "I just had to make sure that we were safe," he emphasised, looking directly at me. Did he just smirk? Maybe I probably imagined it. Has he already found out? I'm actually starting to feel the danger of this mission. They started the car and drove off.

We drove into a lone and secluded area, which was at the outskirts of the town after driving a long time. It was a forest. Why do I feel like something would go terribly wrong. Then I spotted an abandoned building which seems to be the only building in at least one mile radius, which we were actually driving towards to. Why would anyone build that here?

Unless they ran a Mafia and need a place to run their business.

This certainly doesn't look like a place for an official business, but then again who said it was official. The car came to a stop front of the building.

"We're here boss," the man in front said to Scorpion who was busy with his phone. Judging from his features, he does not like whatever's on that screen. Eventually, we all came down from the car and strode in. The lights flickered as we walked through the passage. There were more men inside. They all stepped aside as Scorpion walked over to one of them.

"He's inside," the guy said, handing him a gun. Uh....

"Good," Scorpion said taking the gun from him, his hands in black gloves, "everyone else clear out, except you two," he said referring to us. Everyone left immediately, leaving Scar, Ava and I. Sometimes I feel like Scorpion has little control over Scar. The former then opened a door revealing another room. It was dark, except the tiny moonlight that shone through the small window at the wall. It took some time for my eyes to adjust to the darkness and when it did, I was hit with a strong sense of familiarity, like a déja vù.

There was a man tied to a chair, in the middle of the empty room. Scar switched on the light. He should be in his late fourties and looks like he was almost at the brink of death. Very battered. Ava shivered at the sight. He could barely lift his eyelid at the sudden intrusion. And when he did, he scanned each one of us before settling on Scorpion with a deep scowl mixed with fear.

"Hello Jonas, miss me?" Scorpion said to him. He spat at him but it landed on the ground instead. Scorpion tsked and scrunched down towards his eye level, using the gun to caress his face. "Now where are you're manners, hmm? Don't tell me going rogue for a few days made you lose it"
