"I Wish You were Here" Nuzi Angst Story

Part I:Memories

—N's Dream—
"N!.........N! GET OUT OF HERE"

—Present Day—

N Shoots up from his dream as he pants heavily, Digital Sweat beads dropping down his visor as he holds his head in his hands. N starts to calm down before he sucks in a sharp inhale, tightening his hands on his hair before he groans and gets up walking to the bathroom before looking in the mirror. His Hair had grown a lot ever since....ever since she Died. His chassis could probably doing better due to the slight rust that was building up. He hadn't been taking care of himself in the past few months. He stares at the mirror before he yells and Punches the Glass, the glass cutting his hand causing oil to drip from the cuts. He hissed before grabbing a first aid kit and Bandaging the Wound. He sighs before grabbing Uzi's Beanie he was able to salvage from the collapsed ruins of the church. He sucked in another exhale before walking into the Living room walking past a passed out V Grabbing his Jacket and leaving the House. Almost 2 years have passed since everything that happened. Some new Drones were walking by and seemed like everything was going well.....but not for N, he felt Guilt every single day and passing Hour

"Hey N!. Wanna Join us for some sports?"

A familiar voice asked as N turned around looking at Thad

"Not today Thad. I'll catch you later"

He said as he turned back around and started to walk away before he was stopped by Thad's Hand Grabbing his Shoulder

"You okay?"

Thad Asked in a Concerned manner. Silence is all that's heard in the hallway as N Sucks in another Inhale before turning around slightly. A Fake Smile plastered on his face

"All's Fine. I'm fine Thad"

N said before Walking away making his way towards the entrance of the colony. His audio receptors tuning out any noise as his mind replays memories between him and Uzi. He finally makes it to the doors as he takes out the override key and swiped it before being stopped by Khan

"N?. What are you doing here?"

Uzi's Father asked as he looked up at the Taller Drone. Uzi's Father seemed like he was doing worse than N but the difference between the two is that Khan was able to hide it. His mustache had visibly Aged, having grey hairs mixed in with the black due to stress, his visor aged with more stress lines

"Going to the Labs"

N said as he pushed past Khan and the other WDF drones before opening the last door and walking out. Snow landing on his Visor as he looked out towards the night sky. He sighs as he kept walking, snow Crunching under his feet before he unfurled his Wings and taking off in the direction of the Labs. After about an hour of flying he arrived at the Labs before going past the ruined remains of fellow DD's and Sentinels before he drops down the secret elevator. Eventually he makes it to the Ruined Church before sitting down on the rubble

"Hey Uzi....sorry I'm late, it hasn't been going well these past months.....I miss you...I......I don't think I can do this without you"

He said taking off the Beanie as he pushed it against his chest, a stifled whimper coming from the drone as he opened his eyes before getting up and removing pieces of Rubble. For the Past Two years N has been coming down to the Labs every day removing pieces of rubble searching for Uzi's Body so he could bury her. But every day he's Never found her. He was almost completely done only a few more piles of rubble left but still....no sign of her. The Drone started to get frustrated as his hands switched to his bladed hands as he started throwing rubble around as he yelled loudly before collapsing and Crying. His eyes widen as he Feels a Hand against his shoulder. He quickly turns around seeing V

"This is where you we-"

V was Cut off as N held onto her Crying into her Jacket as she Blinked before embracing her Brother/friend

"Take a Break, I'll help you out"

She said as he nodded, sitting down on a pile of rubble before beginning to doze off as V Searched the rubble

—DREAM SEQUENCE INTIATING—

"You won't Leave me right?"

Uzi asked looking at N as Her and N sat ontop of the corpse spire

"Oh come on Buddy. You know I won't. I promised. You and me...against the World"

N said as he held her hand. He lets out a yelp of pain as his hand was crushed by Uzi. Her head turned away as he giggled

"But you didn't did you. You left didn't you.....Big Brother~?"

Uzi turned around, her visor the same shade of yellow as Cyn had

—End of Dream Sequence—

N yelled as he yanked himself up from his sleep. He pants heavily as he looks around....right, he's still here

"Hey dork. Found something"

V said as N quickly stood up and ran towards her, she was standing over a Bracelet

"You gave her that didn't you?"

She asked. The bracelet was a Black band with yellow stripes running diagonally across it. Half a heart hanging off it with the other half in N's possession. The drone bent down and picked it up running his finger across it brushing off the dust as he got up

"She's got to be here I..."

He stopped as he noticed V had cleared the entire area

"I....i don't understand where is she. She's supposed to be here she"

"What if she didn't die"

V said as N's eyes widen turning to look at her before immediately getting angry

"That's not Funny V. If she was alive she would've come back home. That's cruel giving me false hope!"

N yelled as V winced before walking towards him

"If she's not here than where is she. It's not like she would just abandon you. She's either dead somewhere else or-"

"Shut up"

N said as V opened her mouth about to speak before N Yelled again

"I SAID SHUT UP"

N said as he snapped his head over to her, his visor a Yellow X before it flickered back to his normal visor. He winced before he unfurled his wings Flying Off
