"I Wish You were Here" Nuzi Angst Story

Part III:Hope

—Thad's POV—

"LIZZY, V GET OVER HERE"

Thad Yells as he drops to his knees Brushing off the snow from Uzi's Body, her Hair frozen. She must've been here for these two years

V lands Next to Thad as her eyes widen. She quickly inspects Uzi

"There's no Fatal Error Message. She's still alive somehow!"

V said happily

"Lizzy Call Khan, get the bus here now!"

Thad Said as Lizzy pulled out her phone immediately calling Khan. After 5 minutes the Bus would speed up next to them before stopping, Khan Drops down as slides next to his daughter before hugging her Currently deactivated body. Khan quickly lifts her up and Loads her into the Bus as everyone gets in before speeding towards The colony. Once at the Colony Khan, Thad, and another WDF Unload Uzi before rushing towards the Infirmary. Multiple doctors and nurses Take Uzi and place her on a Stretcher. The lead doctor Yells orders and pushes the trio away

"Sorry you're going to have to wait here"

The doctor said as the rushed Uzi somewhere else

"That's Bullcrap. At least let Khan go he's her father"

Thad said angrily as Khan put a hand on his shoulder

"It's alright. We've got to let them work"

Khan said as Thad huffed

"We have to tell N"

Thad said as they rushed towards his room

—10 hours later—

—N's POV—

N groggily wakes up as he sat up. The restraints on his arms and legs removed as he groaned. He scanned the room to see V, Thad, Lizzy, and Khan sleeping on chairs in his room

"W-what's going on?"

N said as he tried to stand up but almost Fell. Thad Wakes up and quickly Catches him

"Woah there Big guy. You're still loopy from the Meds"

Thad said helping N stand up

"W-why are you guys here?"

N asked as V, Lizzy, and Khan awoke. Concerned looks on their faces as Thad Sighed

"It's best if we just show you"

Thad said as they Lead N towards another room. As N entered the room his eyes widened. Uzi was laid on a bed hooked up to multiple machines

"Y-you guys found her I-is she...."

N said weakly as Khan spoke up

"Doctors said she's been in a "lockdown" state for 2 years. They're trying to Get her out of that state but....they said to not get our hopes up"

Khan said as he sucked in a breath

"But she's alive right?."

N said as Khan Nodded. N gets off Thad as he limps towards Uzi holding her hand. He collapsed as he cries into her hand

"Thank Robo-God You're okay"

N said as V walks towards him and pats his back

"We'll leave you alone with her for a bit"

V said as the group left closing the door behind them as N was Left alone

"I'm so...so sorry I wasn't with you. I won't ever leave you alone again"

N said as he winced, the rusting still wasn't gone. He gets up and pulls up a chair before falling asleep next to her due to the meds. After 2 years finally....he had hope. A light at the end of that dark tunnel
