I sat on my bed, my hands trembling uncontrollably. My mind felt like a chaotic storm, unable to settle on a single thought. The explosion still echoed in my ears, the shattering of the bangles a haunting memory. I didn't understand why it happened, but honestly, that didn't matter to me. All I could think about was Aarna.
My heart ached with an intensity I had never known before. "Please, Shri Radhakrishn, keep my Aarna safe," I pleaded aloud, my voice cracking with desperation. The thought of her being harmed because of those bangles was unbearable. My mind raced, envisioning countless scenarios, each one more terrifying than the last.
In all my life, I had never felt so vulnerable. I had always been strong, facing every challenge head-on, but now... now that Aarna was not by my side, I felt like I couldn't even breathe without her. Every moment without her presence was torture.
But what was she trying to tell me? I replayed our conversation over and over in my mind, trying to decipher her words. She had been saying something important, but I had missed it. I took a sharp breath and closed my eyes, trying to recall her lips moving.
"Maharaj?" The voice startled me, and I snapped my eyes open to see Aarna and Gurudev standing before me. Relief and disbelief washed over me in a dizzying wave.
I scrambled to my feet, wanting to show my respect to Gurudev, but he placed a calming hand on my shoulder, urging me to sit. "Son, I know you are in pain, and at the same time, you are trying to manage the empire. But you need to understand, Yashwardhan, that..."
"Aarna vapas nhi aa rahi hai," Gurudev said, his words striking me like a blow. I felt the world tilt, my breath hitching in my chest.
{Aarna isn't coming back}
Suddenly, Aarna's words came back to me in a rush. I gasped loudly, causing both Gurudev and Aarna to look at me with concern. I covered my mouth in my own surprise.
"Maharaj?" Aarna's voice was soft, filled with worry. Her eyes met mine.
"Aarna......va...vapas aa ra...hi hai," I choked out, my voice breaking. Both their eyes widened in shock.
{Aarna is coming back}
Tears streamed down my face, but this time, they were tears of joy. "Aarna vapas aa rahi hai," I repeated, my heart swelling with hope and relief. "She's coming back."
I couldn't hold back my emotions any longer. I cried openly, letting the tears flow freely. It was a release of all the fear and pain I had been holding inside. Aarna was coming back. The words echoed in my mind like a mantra, bringing with them a sense of peace I had not felt in days.

"Kintu ye sambhav kese hai, putra?" Gurudev's voice carried the weight of centuries-old knowledge as he peered at me with penetrating eyes. I sat before him, grappling with the return of Aarna, my beloved. "Hum nhi jante, kintu Aarna Jo humse kehna chah rahi thi voh hum samjh gae hai aur hum bas itna jante hai ki vo vapas aa rahi hai, humari Aarna vapas aa rahi hai," I replied, my words tinged with both uncertainty and hope.
{But how is that possible, son?}
{I don't know, but whatever Aarna was trying to tell me, now I understand it and I just know that she is coming back, my Aarna is coming back}
Gurudev's expression softened, a rare smile touching his lips as he gently patted my head. "I hope that is true," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm to my restless soul. I nodded earnestly, finding solace in his quiet belief.
Suddenly, breaking the tranquil stillness that enveloped us, Aarna stirred. Her presence, usually serene and composed, now crackled with a newfound urgency. "It means I can go back," she announced, her voice carrying a mixture of relief and apprehension.
I glanced up at her, perplexed yet eager for answers. Rising to my feet, I confronted her with a surge of curiosity, "You know how she will come back?" I questioned, my voice betraying a blend of wonder and disbelief. Aarna met my gaze with unwavering certainty, nodding solemnly as if privy to a secret only whispered by the winds.
