Kiara woke up with searing pain coursing through her body. Every muscle, every cell seemed to ache with a relentless intensity. She shifted uncomfortably, realizing she was covered by a blanket only from the waist down, while the upper half was exposed, shared by him, sleeping soundly beside her.

Summoning every ounce of strength, she maneuvered herself upright, gently pushing him aside. Grabbing the quilt to cover her shoulders, she glanced at him with a mix of resentment and disgust. His peaceful sleep grated against her raw emotions, a stark contrast to the turmoil raging within her.

The bruises on her body throbbed painfully, each one a painful reminder of the night's events. Tears welled up in Kiara's eyes as she struggled to contain the flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm her. The betrayal and hurt inflicted upon her by this man lying beside her would forever stain her soul, an indelible mark that no amount of time could erase.

Kiara stared at Reyansh, who lay beside her, sleeping peacefully. The contrast between his calm demeanor and the turmoil within her was unbearable. She could feel the physical pain radiating through her body, but the emotional agony was even more intense. Her anger bubbled up, mingling with a profound sense of helplessness.

"Why did he do this to me?" she whispered to herself, her voice trembling with a mix of fury and sorrow. The betrayal and the violence were more than she could bear.

She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she fought back the tears that threatened to spill over.

The anger in Kiara's heart burned fiercely as she stared at Reyansh, who slept peacefully after tormenting her. Her gaze fell upon the small dagger resting on the side table beside them. Determination surged through her. She would kill him with her bare hands today. Grasping the dagger, she glared at him, ready to strike with brutal force.

But as she moved to plunge the blade into him, her hand was unexpectedly caught. Reyansh's eyes opened, and he smiled up at her.

"What's the hurry, my princess? We've only been married for a day, and already you're trying to kill your beloved husband," he said, his voice dripping with mockery.

Kiara's heart pounded in her chest. The shock of his sudden alertness and the grip he had on her wrist sent a jolt through her. She struggled, trying to free herself, but his hold was firm.

"Let go of me!" she spat; her eyes filled with hatred.

Reyansh's smile widened. "I don't think so. You see, my dear, this is just the beginning. You can try to fight me all you want, but you'll never win."

Kiara's fury intensified. She couldn't believe the audacity of the man before her. He had taken everything from her, and now he was mocking her for trying to reclaim her freedom.

"You won't get away with this," she hissed, her voice trembling with rage.

Reyansh laughed softly. "Oh, but I already have. Now, be a good wife and put the dagger down before you hurt yourself."

With a swift motion, he twisted the dagger from her grasp and tossed it aside. Kiara felt a wave of despair wash over her as her last hope slipped away. But beneath her despair, a steely resolve began to form.

Reyansh's grip on her wrist tightened painfully as he pulled her closer, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You think you can defy me? You think you can run away and betray me?" he snarled, his voice low and menacing.

Kiara's eyes filled with tears, but she refused to let them fall. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction. "I hate you," she whispered, her voice laced with venom.
