After Kiara left, Meera stood in her room, her heart racing with a whirlwind of emotions. Anger, betrayal, and confusion clouded her mind as she paced the floor. She had never imagined her sister would be caught up in such a complicated mess, especially with someone she thought she could trust.

Suddenly, a gentle knock at the door broke her reverie. She turned to see Eklavya standing hesitantly at the threshold. His eyes searched hers, filled with an intensity that made her stomach twist.

"Meera," he began softly, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. "Can we talk?"

Meera crossed her arms defensively, her heart pounding as she faced the man who had deceived her. "What do you want, Eklavya? Or should I say Rahagir?" she snapped, trying to keep her emotions in check.

Eklavya winced at her tone but pressed on. "I need to explain. I never meant to hurt you, and I certainly didn't want to deceive you. I—"

"Save it," Meera interrupted, her voice trembling. "You lied to me! You made me fall for you while pretending to be someone you're not. How could you do that?"

He took a step closer, his gaze unwavering. "Because I had to. I thought it was the only way to get close to you and protect you from Reyansh. I thought if I could gain your trust, I could keep you safe."

"Safe?" Meera scoffed, anger flashing in her eyes. "You think lying to me is keeping me safe?"

Eklavya took another step forward, his voice earnest. "No, I know it was wrong. But please, listen to me. I love you, Meera. I always have. Every moment we spent together was real for me. I never wanted to deceive you; I just didn't know how to tell you the truth without putting you in danger."

The intensity of his words caught Meera off guard, and for a moment, she felt her defences wavering. "You think that just saying you love me makes everything okay?" she asked, her voice softer now but still laced with pain.

"I don't expect you to forgive me right away," he replied, his eyes searching hers desperately. "But I need you to know how I truly feel. I came back for you. I fought to survive, not just for myself but for us."

Meera's heart raced as she absorbed his confession, a tumultuous mix of emotions swirling within her. "And what about Kiara? You were just using her to get to me, weren't you?"

Eklavya shook his head vigorously. "No! I never intended to hurt her. I care about her, but my heart belongs to you. I'm here for you, Meera. I want to be with you, but I can't do that if you're angry with me."

She searched his eyes for the truth, trying to discern his sincerity through the chaos of her emotions. "You really mean that?"

"Yes," he said, stepping even closer. "I would do anything for you. I just need a chance to prove it."

Meera's heart softened, the walls she had built around herself beginning to crack. "You're asking a lot from me, Eklavya."

"I know," he replied earnestly. "But I promise I'll make it right. I'll show you that my love is real. Just give me a chance."

Meera felt the weight of his words, and for the first time, she glimpsed the possibility of something genuine between them. The road ahead was uncertain, but the spark of love ignited hope within her.

"Okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I'll give you a chance. But you have to promise me that no more lies."

"I promise," Eklavya said, relief flooding his features. "Thank you, Meera. I won't let you down."

As they stood there, the air thick with unspoken promises, Meera felt the warmth of possibility beginning to bloom in her heart, even amidst the chaos surrounding them.
