As expected, the local rulers of the city were overwhelmed with rage and humiliation. Huge numbers of cultivators from the clan were deployed to the restaurant where the incident occurred and the Lei clan went so far as to send a yang realm cultivator to lead the search! One could see how determined they were to capture the culprits, as there were only three Yang realm masters in the clan. "Halt! You are in the territory of the Xuan clan. State your purpose!" One of the guards, a peak connate level cultivator spoke. His tone was obviously lacking force.

This made the old clan chief to sigh.
"The five great clans have fallen so low?"

Long Yuan stepped forward and spoke,
"Go and tell your clan chief that Long Yuan, the chief of the Long clan is here"

His words made the guards to freeze and they all turned to stare at Long Yuan seriously.

"It really is Lord Long Yuan!" One of the guards who had once seen Long Yuan from afar exclaimed.

"Pardon my disrespect. Please come in. The clan chief will be alerted immediately!" The previous guard spoke with a respectful posture.

He was feeling confused though. Were the Long clan unaware of the current situation of the city? Otherwise why would they return?

Long Yuan nodded and they all walked past the gates. It was only now that the guards noticed the others, a peerlessly beautiful young lady that made then unable to think and two young men, the younger looking one who was dragging a person along behind him.

"That guy looks familiar!" One of the guards muttered.

"Of course he looks familiar. He is Long Feng, that genius of the Long clan. But why did he return at this time?" A nearby guard replied.

The former was startled and replied,
"I wasn't referring to young master Long Feng. I was referring to the one he was dragging along"

"It really is young master Lei Hao. What happened to him? And why is Long Feng dragging him this way!" A guard asked curiously.

"Is that what you're bothered about? Can't You tell that regardless of what happened, it is irrefutable that Long Feng dragged the young master of the Lei clan into our Xuan clan. We might not be able to escape annihilation in the rage of the Lei clan! I think this is a plot of the Long clan to wipe us out!" Another guard exclaimed worriedly.
