Chapter 19

Jimin was in a terrible state.
Confusion laced with the sense of fear.. it was just such an abnormal feeling for him.

The Jimin who feared nothing, had the world at the back of his hand, was shook to the core reading a simple text from his bestfriend.
Dropping his phone on the bed he looked besides him at the sleeping figure of his lady,
All he could feel was fear, anxiety and the urge to protect her, his family.

He walked out of the room silently gulping down a glass of water and then proceeded to pick up the 14th call his best friend was making.

"Hello"
"Jimin, what the fuck is going on? How do I fucking find this? I mean.. Lia's panicking, she's with Mari, our baby is safe but.. I really need to see you first tomorrow morning" tae sounded so worried and full of questions.

Jimin understood the gravity of the situation as flashbacks from the past started to play in his mind. He could connect the dots, cursing himself for really not paying much attention to the little small note him and Biyanka once found in her bag...

It wasn't something irrelevant anymore.

It took so much in him to walk back into their bedroom and lay down on the bed...
He wasn't that upfront and confident in making decisions when it came to protect his daughter and woman. All he could feel was an uneasy feeling creeping through his body.

His chest tightened as his eyes flashed just the photo Taehyung sent him an hour ago.

"Wouldn't it be lovely to watch your parents getting married? Mari does look the cutest after all!! "

He wanted to see his daughter right now.
Ever since he saw the photo of the note taehyung found in Mari's school bag, he wasn't really liking the distance between him and his daughter.

Dialing Lim's number Jimin made sure he drove fast towards Taehyung's place

"Jimin?" Lia opened the door to a very anxious and worried Jimin.
She adjusted her robe and let him inside
"Where's she?" He asked walking into the living room..

When tae came rubbing his eyes..
"Jimin? It's freakin 3 am!"
"I want to see Mari!" Jimin paid no attention to the questions
Passing Taehyung, jimin walked towards the guest room.

He felt his legs weakening at the sight of his daughter peacefully sleeping inside the blanket holding onto her new plushies.
He didn't even realize his eyes getting all teary.. and the sigh of relief he let out.

Without questions Taehyung went towards Mari's sleeping figure and carefully pulled her in his arms.. still cradling her and making sure she doesn't faze.
Jimin who stood there in relief but constant fear caressed her head and kissed her cheeks a thousand times taking her into his arms finally.

The way Jimin held onto Mari made Lia tear up.

"You left Bi alone?" Targeting questioned as Jimin walked towards the entrance
"Lim is guarding the house,I couldn't let Lim bring Mari, I needed to see her.. I couldn't" jimin felt his throat tightening and then felt Lia rub his back.

"Shhhh.. she's okay. Our princess is sleeping. Go home Jimin. Do you want Taehyung to drop you guys?" She asked
"No, I'll text you once I reach. I'll be careful. And yeah we'll talk about this tomorrow. Bye guys" Jimin walked away.

Lia and Tae shared their fears and worries over the Park family, but they knew Jimin would do anything to protect what's his.
