Chapter 31

Jimin sat outside the emergency area..
Quiet..
Still in his sweats..
His hair a total mess...
His eyes bloodshot...
Tear stained cheeks...

He was hating himself for what he had done..

Only when his trance was broken

"Hey Doctor, how's Biyanka doing?"

That very familiar tone ..

There stood Neil with a water bottle in hand.
"She's stable, we'll get the test reports in a while, we'd shift her into the ward in an hour"

Then doctor left

But jimin didn't hear a single thing

"What the fuck are YOU doing here?"
Jimin was on his feet now and pulled Neil's shoulder to face him

"Good morning Sir, I.. I was the one who brought Mrs. Park to the hospital"
He said and Jimin left his shirt..

"Jimin" Jin came interrupting,
"Oh Neil, thanks buddy for the great help.. since her family is here now, you can leave. I'm very grateful to you"
Jin smiled and Jimin just watched the entire scene unfolding in front of him

"No problem sir, She's my friend as well, please take care. And inform me about her health"
Neil bowed and left

"What was all that" Jin looked at Jimin
"You can't be fucking serious. This guy.. literally this guy out of all? And you guys didn't let ME in?"

"He saved her"
"Fucking sure he did" jimin spat at Jin

Jimin's patience was just on the verge of getting shattered when the nurse came in to Jin informing him about the shift.

It had been 2 hours
The sun was already up, Jimin sat just outside the ward..
Taehyung had requested for a VIP private ward of the hospital since he really didn't want even the lightest of inconvenience for any of the members or Biyanka.

Jimin could see how it was only Tae and Jin making the runs talking on the call.

It felt like he was losing it
He sat with his body impatient..
The past flashing before his eyes.
Every time he closed his eyes he could only see Biyanka's bruised face and those marks on her body..

Taehyung apparently left for home to check on Lia while Jin stayed calling his manager..

"Sir, please have something"
It was Lim who came holding a water bottle and a sandwich

"I don't want to. But where were you"
Jimin asked
"I had to talk to Mr. Yun and Jinyoung"
Jimin just nodded ... scared how all these people must be hating him now.

Jimin pov

It had been too long since I was sitting here.. Taehyung wasn't even looking at me all the time he was here.
He has left for home a while back.. and now I know Jin hyung is inside..

My impatience was growing with every minute.. when I finally just decided to go inside.

I opened the door.. and my eyes straight went to her.

I hate myself so much
I have never hated myself to this extent but it's my fuckinh wife today..
who I failed to treat like she deserves to be.

I walked towards her bed..
and my tears ran down my cheeks

"Please wake up baby"
I whispered..

"Jimin?"
I looked at Jin hyung who was sitting on the sofa in the room, his body half leaning.
"Hyung please, please let me"
I pleaded and he just nodded

I fell on my knees crying and kissing her hands
"I am sorry, Baby... I am so sorry, you could hit me, Dont talk to me, ask me for anything..but jus wake up... please"
I cried..
...

"Umm.. who's with the patient?"
The doctor asked

"I... I am.. im her husband"
Jimin spoke up

The doctor had come to check in and update them about Biyanka's health.
"Mr. Park, oh.. sorry I had no idea. But proceeding, Mrs. Park is quite weak, umm.. if I may ask you.. did she went through a miscarriage or something?"

And it was like jimin was splashed with a bucket of ice cold water..

He just shook his head..
"..n...no... I.. she wasn't pregnant.. she.. no"
He spoke and the doctor just nodded
"Well it looks like she had gone through one a couple of weeks ago, .. did she complain about having late periods?"
The doctor asked

"Ah! It looks like I should be talking to a gynac... it's been 2 weeks my periods ain't here yet!" Biyanka spoke on the call
While jimin was on his laptop..
..

"What if we're having a baby?" She whispered as she nuzzled her face in his chest as they prepared to go to sleep..
"Umm.. then we become parents of another beautiful baby...
Are you having symptoms?"
Jimin asked almost raising his upper body..
"Nah! I'm okay.. just late periods.. but I am getting these cramps.. maybe I'd get them soon"
"Oh .. well looks like I need to work harder"
She giggled

The following day...

"I won't be joining Lia for the lunch ... I got my periods.. it's kind of very painful and heavy this time" she stayed in the bed
"You want me to bring you anything right now baby? I'll take Mari with me to Taehyung's"
He kissed her head caressing her abdomen.

Jimin's eyes teared up ... while he just nodded
"It must have been an early one.. Mr. Park.. your wife's body is weak right now..since she went through a miscarriage she fell unconscious due to her body not getting enough rest.. we've her on saline.. she's gonna be fine but.. it's better you let her know about this.. this is quite common for women to mistake a miscarriage  as a late period. It'd be tough but she'll be fine.."

The doctor went and jimin sat on the ground crying...
