Fifteen

"You motherfuckers!" Sadie shouts as she pulls out her own gun. The kids' bodyguards lift them from their chairs and run with them out of the dining room. All three of them scream.

Sadie puts herself in front of Bella and Giovanni as they begin shooting.

"Get them!" Mikhail shouts as more men come crashing in through the windows of the dining room. Trent begins shooting along with other men.

"Trent! Get Bella!" Sadie shouts as she shoots one of Mikhail's men. He goes down as one of Sadie's men gets shot in the shoulder. Trent protects Bella and the baby with his body as he ushers them out of the room.

"Miss, come with me!" Vaughn shouts as he takes her to their bedroom. Trent goes down as he takes a bullet to the leg. Mikhail may have had other men waiting to move in, but Sadie has more men.

"Retreat! Retreat!" Mikhail shouts. He jumps through the broken window and climbs up a rope. Sadie tries to shoot at him, but the man is fast, like he's practiced this.

"Radio Florence, they're going to the roof!" Sadie shouts at one of her men. She makes for the stairs with five more men.

On the second floor, Thea, Luca, and Matteo sit in Thea's room with the door locked.

"Are those the bad people?" Matteo asks.

"Yes," Julio answers.

"Are they gonna kill Mommy?"

"No. She's gonna be fine," He answers.

"You have a gun?" Thea asks Billie.

"Of course I do, sweetheart. It's my job to protect you," She replies, brushing some hair out of the girl's face.

"Speaking of protecting, are any of you hurt?" Matthew, Luca's guard, asks. They all shake their heads.

"I'm scared," Matteo says.

"I know, buddy, it's gonna be okay," Julio states, "But we're safe in here."

Outside the room, glass breaks. Julio, Matthew, and Billie all jump up, preparing for battle.

"Go to the corner over there, quick!" Billie whispers. The children crawl on the floor over to the farthest corner. Billie slings her rifle off, "Open the door, quietly."

Julio nods as Billie lies down on the floor. He opens the door just enough for Billie's gun to stick out and for her to be able to see.

"Cover their ears," Julio orders Matthew. He takes Thea's comforter off the bed and covers them with it, holding them close together. Julio has his gun at the ready too.

In a second, Billie sees the attacker, aims and fires, hitting the man in the chest.

"Ugh!" He groans as he lands with a thud. She prepares for another intruder. This time Julio fires and hits the intruder in the forehead, killing them before they hit the ground.

Meanwhile, Sadie gets to the roof where a helicopter waits. She shoots at Mikhail but misses as he climbs into the helicopter.

"Go, go!" He shouts. Sadie quickly discards of her suit jacket and runs at the helicopter as it lifts off the ground.

"Madame!" One of her men shouts as she jumps and grabs the one of the metal feet of the helicopter. The helicopter rises in the air as her men shout, "We need a landing pad! Quick!"

Sadie holds onto the metal foot, her gun in one hand making it hard to keep hold. Mikhail laughs as he leans out and sees Sadie. She looks down to see her men preparing a landing pad, moving with the helicopter as it moves farther away from the Estate.
