Archie's POV

The sound of the car alarm starts to get closer and closer to the camp. Rose moves to step out of the tent, but I grab her arm.

"wait, don't got out there." I say as I pull her behind me. She looks at me with a worried face.

"Just, stay behind me." I tell her as I walk out of the tent into the hot blazing sun. I hear her footsteps following behind me. As I walk with my head held high I feel rose slowly slip her hand into mine. I give her hand a small but tight squeeze and pull her closer to me as she slips her other hand over my bicep and holds me nervously. (the pic above)

"Is it them? are they back" Amy ask with hope, as everyone started to form a circle around entrance to the camp site

"what are the chances" Rose states from behind me shutting down all hope the young girl had. I look down at her, it wasn't very hard to see that she was nervous and was only speaking with her anxiety.

"Hey, relax don't worry I'm right here." I whisper for only her to hear. She looks up at my and lightly nods her head.

The red car pulls in and we all are surprised to see Glenn get out of the car, with one of the biggest smiles I've seen in a long time. In only seconds is his smile gone as he is being yell at. Rose mushes her head between my arm and my back trying to block out the sound of Shane trying get Glenn to pop the hood and Amy asking about her sister. Finally Shane got the alarm to stop and everybody was left with the sound of Amy.

"Why isn't she with you? Where is she? She's okay" Amy ask none stop.

"Yes!" Glenn answers trying to calm her and himself down "Everyone's fine. Well Merle not so much."

Rose moves her head out from under my arm and rest her head on the side of my arm, trying to hear better.

"what happened to Merle" Estella ask with a worried voice. I know that Rose and he sister have a bond with the Dixon boys that even surprised me.

"you crazy driving this wailing bastard up here" Shane ask Glenn completely causing him to skip over estellas question. My thought was cutoff by the sound of Roses voice

"We should be ok, I mean it made an echoed. Makes it hard to pinpoint where its coming from, right?" she says from behind me

"You calling being stupid Ok?" shane states and as he trys to look at her from behind be me

"are you calling hur stupid?" I ask starting to get pissed off. Shane rolls his eyes and ignores my question.

"Sorry. Got a cool car" Glenn states as he looks around with sad but excited face. Then a white truck turns into the camp site. Andrea is the first to get out of the truck and Amy takes off running. As the rest of the crew get out of the truck families start to run over the their loved ones, but out the corner of my eye I see Loir pull Carl away from the scene.

"how did ya'll get out of there anyway?" Shane ask with a look

"New guy- he got us out." Glenn answered squinting due to the sun

"yea, crazy vato just go into town." Morales answer as he looks back at his wife. "Hey, Helicopter boy! Come say Hello." He yells towards the truck. soon after a man in a sheriffs outfit comes out the truck. There is a moment of silence from the group as everyones eyes are on the new man, but we turn to the sound of carl yelling.
