She could feel eyes following her as she turned into the training area and the rocky path kicked up behind her. Luke was screaming out drills as what looked like the Demeter and Hephaestus cabin slowly fell into place. She didn't say much until she felt one more familiar set of eyes on her.

She turned to see no one staring at her so she walked further till she could barely hear anyone.

"What do you need, Annabeth?" She asked as she turned around. The air in front of her fizzled and rippled as it revealed the familiar dark skin and dark braids of Annabeth Chase.

Annabeth was a little more than half a year younger than her but so much braver than she would ever be. She was a camp favorite, Luke's favorite and so everyone's favorite.

"Chiron's supposed to be coming back soon, like within the week. The house visit is basically done."

"That's good, just in time for summer. But what does this have to do with me?"

"I want to know if this kid will be the one. But you know Chiron won't tell me anything." Annabeth said, gaze traveling behind her.

Atalanta snorted. "I'm not being your spy so you can get a quest, Annabeth. Ask one of the Hermes kids, like the Stolls, or someone else to be your spy. I'm sure the Stolls will get a  big kick out of it."

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Fine. But you can't say you aren't interested, a demigod that requires Chiron to come out and bring you to camp. That has to mean something! Plus you keep having dreams maybe you can dream of the new kid!"

Annabeth was right in that regard. Chiron doesn't do house visits even when mortal parents beg for it over the phone. So for him to do this, especially without the parent asking means something. Most likely trouble, big Godly trouble, deadly trouble. But her dreams were not hers to control. She never could and most certainly would not be trying for some kid she has never met and most likely will never see after his entrance.

"Look, I won't spy on them. But if I hear something and it's not too bad, I'll tell you. But no dreams. I already can't control what they show me and I am not in the mood to try and force them to do anything." Annabeth smiled and Atalanta started to turn around. "You should get back to training before Clarisse says something, if she notices she'll force you to do more drills, the ones you hate specifically. It's her thing."

Annabeth nodded once more before sliding her cap over her head and disappearing. Atalanta continued on her way toward the big house.

She walked for a while, letting the ambiance and yells of the older campers fill her ears. She let her eyes wander over the familiar people around Camp. It was getting busier with Campers coming from school or wherever else they went during the year. But it wasn't as loud as it gets during the middle of the summer when everyone is there and they are in the middle of the campfire and everybody's singing along to whatever song Luke or Lucas decided to play.

She let out a small laugh as Pollux ran past her yelling apologies after almost shoving her off the path. She walked up the steps to the big house and stared at Mr. D who was doing some kind of paperwork. For what, she had no fucking idea considering most of the important paperwork went through her first because he couldn't be bothered too busy half-moping about not talking to his kids freely. But, whatever.

"When's Chiron getting back?" She asks and Mr. D slowly looks up at her.

"Shouldn't you be training Ariana?" He said and she rolled her eyes as she let herself slide into the chair right next to the folded-up ping-pong table.

"Y'know I can't wait for the day someone decides that they are done with your fake name bullshit. One day you're going to have to call someone by their name or someone going to explode."
