Ch 16: She is yours

Nina is in the room with her bride dress waiting for her husband. He walk in, she smile. He walk to her sitting on the bed, uncover her veil, he stare into her eyes, "we are married now but I won't treat you as my wife"

The smile on her face slowly fade away, "this night, I won't touch you"

Nina face turn pale,"then why do you marry me"

"You though I marry you because I love you" he laughs, "this marriage happened because I had no options. We are husband and wife in the eyes of the public but to me we are not"

"Eric, we are destine to become one, I knew it the moment you save me from that snake"

"If I have know you're the one, I won't have save you" with those words he leave the room.

Tears drop from her eyes, this is the beginning of her suffering. The first day he was introduce as her husband she was happy and fall in love immediately knowing that he save her but today he has changed.

Eric came in seeing Nina crying, "crying won't stop me of doing what I want to do. Go and Change from your wedding dress."

He spread his blanket on the floor, "From today the bed is your, the blanket on the floor is where I will sleep"

"We are husband and wife, why sleeping on the floor"

"Am not"

"Why do you marry me?"

Eric laughs then walk close Nina, his face close to her,"because of the friendship she has with your mother"

Nina fold her hands as tears fall from her eyes then remember when he save her from the snake, he was nice and protective which make her fall in love with him at first sight but now he is the opposite. She watch as he arrange his bed and lie on it facing the opposite direction.

Dhruv and Tara are looking at the moon, "am happy we finally defeat them"

"He was hard, I have to used my brain to deal with the situation"

"King Albert will be proud when we get home"

"I want to see his reaction so bad"

"He will be proud of us"

"The Stars is trying to tell us something"

Tara look up, the stars form into something special, "it beautiful, what is it saying?"

Dhruv stand up, his gaze still up,"thank you" Dhruv said,"it says thank you"

"Stars is thanking us, is unusual"

"Believe it or not stars do talk to us but we don't pay attention"

Tara stand up, "let practice"

"I don't want to"

"Am going to practice" Tara said leaving him behind.

Dhruv Keep looking at the sky, "Mr stars, what are you trying to tell me"

It form into someone with a sword behind another person sitting down before he know it  arrows fly toward him, he dodge it and kick them to the wall, "who are you?" He yelled.

The person came out all black, only the eyes are visible. "Who are you?"

The breeze brow the veil out of her face; Dhruv was surprised to see his sister in this outfit, "Tara" he said.

Tara didn't respond but jump toward him, pouncing and kicking while he dodge. "Tara, what's happening to you. Is me Dhruv"

She kept on fighting without responding to him. Dhruv run out of the compound into the forest. Tara run after him.

He stop and turn to his sister running toward him, "you want to fight then let fight" Dhruv run toward his sister as they crush. His hand at her chest, her sword stop close to his face. She slowly put down her sword then fall to the ground while Dhruv catch her.

"Tara, open your eyes" shake her body, there is no response. He hug his sister, "Tara, please woke up" there is still no answer.

His eyes turn red, as he place her body on the grass, "Tara, please woke up" he said as a drop of tears fall on her chest. The leaves on the tree he was under dry up immediately. A breeze brow toward him as his eyes sighted arrows coming toward him. He dodge as they all hit the tree.

He stand up, face to face with a man  dress in all black. "It is you"

His eyes glance at Tara lying with her eyes close, Dhruv notice it then stand in his front to block the stare.

"Who are you?"

"You can't save her"

Dhruv glance at Tara, "what have you done to my sister?"

"Put her to sleep. Only me can break the spell"

"Bring back my sister or I will destroy you"

He laughs, "destroy me... I am untouchable. Your sister is the reason am here"

Dhruv fold his hands then close his eyes and open it then his red turn red he doesn't care about his image, Tara is more important. "This is good" the man said. Then throw something at him.

Immediately Dhruv see himself in a strange land. Tara is been tied, Dhruv run to her. "Tara what are you doing here, been tied up"

Tears was just hushing out of her eyes, Dhruv is about to touch her,"don't, go back home"

"I can't leave you here come with me" about to touch her again but a force throw him away.

"Dhruv" she scream.

Dhruv get up and walk to his sister,"what happened to you?"

"I don't know"

Dhruv see himself back to reality, the man laughs,"her life belong to me, your ability can't save her"

"What do you want?"

"Your sister, only her can make me more powerful"

Dhruv don't understand what he means by that but he has to do everything to save her from him.

Dhruv eyes slowly become normal, "She is yours" he said move out of the way.

The man laughs, "Thank you" he said.

Walk close to Tara lying under the tree. Dhruv watch as he carry her both of them varnish.
