III.the laboratory

It was around 11:15 am when she arrived in front of the large building, the wind gently swept her hair, she inhaled and exhaled then moved closer and closer to the front door, she sometimes had to hide because other scientists were leaving the building and surprisingly she was not stressed or afraid or her heart beating hard in her chest, she was calm.

she discreetly looked out the window near the door, there was no one there...the way was clear. There were 2 floors...But a few things attracted her to the second floor and she was way too curious since she was little.

She went up the stairs without a sound, when she heard a door close or open she stopped suddenly, Then when she no longer heard the door noise or footsteps she started to go up the stairs again to finally reach the second floor.

The young girl felt drawn towards the end of the corridor...she quickly reached the end...she found a white door around it there were window s,Aurora could see in this room a young woman sitting at her desk.

The young woman felt a presence and turned around for a moment to look at the window, but Aurora had time to hide against the wall...but the young woman still felt this presence and that distracted her...so she decides to get up from her chair and go see she leaned over to look in the hallway...on either side and saw Aurora.

Aurora was already panicking...but the young woman didn't seem angry or bothered, to avoid being noticed she looked again in the corridor and didn't see anyone so she took Aurora by the wrist and pushed the young girl towards her desk. The young woman widened her eyes in astonishment, with a smile... rather reassuring.

-what are you doing here ? asked the woman in a reassuring tone.

Aurora didn't know what to say or what to do, should she tell her the truth? Should she lie? Should she run away?

-Well, sit down...Said the woman in a very gentle tone.

She took the chair and made a slight sign for Aurora to sit down,When the girl sat down, the young woman took her chair and sat down next to her.

-So... tell me ? What are you doing here ? she asked, still in the same comforting voice.

-M...madam I assure you I don't want anything bad...Said Aurora with a trembling voice.

-relax...I prefer to understand before announcing your presence... She placed her hand on Aurora's shoulder for a moment,Aurora looked at her with a smile, it was obvious that she hadn't smiled for quite a while.

-B..but... it's personal reasons... I mean... it's about myself...Said Aurora in a calm tone but her voice still trembled..

-well...talk to me... And it's obvious that you don't talk much.

-H... how do you know...Aurora lowered her head.

-look...Said the young woman in a soft voice but you could hear sadness, she rolled up her sleeves and showed her her wrists you could see scars there...

-W...what...w...why..? Aurora's voice trembled, she had tears in her eyes.

-I'm not well too... She replied, her voice a little trembling..

Aurora felt a little better and more confident...in her turn...she rolled up her sleeves, you could see scars on her wrist too, exactly the same as the young woman...in the same place..there wasn't a millimeter of difference...they were identical.

Both girls noticed this, their eyes widened and they are speechless...

-H...how ? she asked, still so shocked.

-I don't know myself... Replied the Woman.
