9. One of the best gifts.

Aurora's alarm clock started ringing like every morning but she found excuses to not go to school.

So that her mother would not suspect anything and give her a medical certificate, she rested.

In the early afternoon she was woken up by her mother.

-Here's a letter for you. She put it on the nightstand and left her room.

Aurora sat up on the edge of her bed, rubbing her eyes.

She took the envelope and looked at the name that was written on the envelope, She realized it was the name of the lab near her house, her eyes widened and she quickly opened it.

She began to read the letter:

Dear Laura,

One of my employees that you know well told me a lot about you, she told me that you were passionate and obsessed with science in general and that the thirst for knowledge made you suffer, the one who told me all this is Elizabeth.

So here is what I propose to you, I propose that you do an internship, the same as Elizabeth's, maybe that could relieve you a little and allow you to be in your element/universe.

Send me a letter if you don't come, but if you decide to come and do this internship, go to the laboratory in my office 2 april at 8 a.m.

The internship would last until the end of June.

I know how painful it is.

Aurora stood there frozen, before picking up her phone.

She looked at the date and... It was March 31st, She felt an inexplicable feeling in her heart, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She felt so happy...

She sent a message to Elizabeth:

Aurora: Liz! Liz!
Elizabeth: what's going on?
Aurora: I have an internship! We will be together!
Aurora: I don't know how I could thank you, I'm so happy...
Elizabeth: You don't have to thank me, you know...

They continued to talk, about everything and nothing and about their internship.

They were so happy.
