The battle ends with him consuming her after he slashes her chest and lung open however Shinobu had poisoned herself so after he consumed her it weakened Douma so Kanao and Inosuke were able to successfully decapitate Douma. While Shinobu doesn't want to admit it herself, she's a bit clueless, so the names she suggested for Kanao were equally unique, including Suzume (a bird), Hakobe (a plant), Kamasu (a fish), Tanago (a fish), and Tobiko (fish eggs). When Kanae saw the paper and the names Shinobu had written she froze for a second, Aoi also looked perplexed but failed to hide her expression so Shinobu asked if something was wrong. Kanae his soe of the papers with the names Shinobu chose and when Kanao reached out to choose the paper that said "Kamasu" on it Aoi grabbed it and ran away. <❀>
