Betty sat across from Veronica as the two of them enjoyed their burgers and shakes from Pop's. "I'm so glad you could get lunch today, sorry it was on such short notice." Betty apologized, but was thankful Veronica took the time out of her day to spend time with her.

"I always make time for you B, besides it's been so long, and I've missed my best friend." Veronica replied cheerfully before taking a fry off her plate.

"I know, and I've missed you too V, I'm sorry I never reached out or anything I was really out of whack when I left." Betty sighed, trying her best to push aside the chaotic memories from 5 years ago out of her brain.

"Well, I've forgiven you, and can we talk about Juliet? Oh. My. God, she is adorable!" She squealed.

Betty blushed, "Thanks V, hopefully you two can actually meet. She seemed really excited to spend  the day with Jughead."

"Yeah, now spill the tea on you two. Then and now, I'm dying, I literally sit all day cause I can't move. I need tea!" Veronica begged, making Betty crack up.

"Shocking as it may seem V, there's nothing. All I can tell you is that we've decided to just be friends, for Juliet's sake and for the sake of making work better for us. And it's been good, I forgot how much I enjoyed solving mysteries with him." Betty felt her cheeks warm up.

"You're blushing, oh my God you still have feelings! B! You two HAVE to go on a dinner date or something." Veronica squealed as she bounced up and down in her seat.

"You've got to calm down, I don't need to go around trying to relive my high school days with him, and I know he doesn't want that either. We just need to be close enough to get along so we can make Juliet happy, you should've seen how excited she was last night when I finally told her the truth."

"What'd she do?"

"I've never seen her look that excited about anything or anyone before. She was jumping up and down on her bed and grinning like I've never seen before. She was overjoyed to find out he was her father, so much so that she didn't even get mad at me for never telling her."

"She's 4, they don't tend to hold grudges. I'm sure she's having a great time with him, he's always been weirdly good with kids." Veronica pointed out.

Betty giggled, "ha, yeah that's true. All those times with Juniper and Dagwood showed me how much of a softie is on the inside." She smiled happily.

"And you say you don't have feelings." Veronica gave Betty a sly smirk, "whatever, I still ship it, and I will be playing match maker from the sidelines. I need something to occupy my time before baby Andrews arrives in the next month." Veronica patted her stomach.

"Do you know if it's a girl or a boy?"

"He's a boy, we found out at the 6 month mark. Neither one of us could've waited any longer to find out." Veronica answered cheerfully.

"Ooh that's so exciting! I'm so happy for you V, Archie must be excited."

"Yeah, he's already planning on how he's going to teach him how to box." Veronica gushed, but rolled her eyes at her husband's antics.

"Are you kidding? He'll be a great boxer, with Archie's skill, and your brain, he'll be undefeated." Betty joked, Veronica had to laugh.

"I suppose you're right, maybe he'll be a champion boxer some day. But for now, he'll be my little boy and I'll try and keep him away from all that as long as I can."

"Good luck with that, if you take him to Archie's matches, he's bound to be interested."

"Maybe I'll get lucky." Veronica laughed.
