A beautiful male omega was arranging his clothes, ready to go to his samchon’s (uncle’s) house for the summer vacation. His samchon and imo (aunty) are actually his parents’ best friends.

Jeon Jungkook loves reading books; he is a bookworm. He is not a social person. He doesn’t even like talking to strangers. He is totally okay with his parents, friends, and some chosen relatives.

Sometimes, he irritates them by talking too much. The boy doesn’t have many friends, only a few chosen ones, and they are literally blessed to experience Jungkook’s rare version of sociability.

Jungkook never in his life thought he would turn into a bookworm. He just hated books, or maybe he used to think he hated books. After his 10th grade, he started reading and got lost in the waves of the magical world within books. He is a picky reader.

He always reads after thorough research. And if he randomly chooses any book, there’s a high chance he will drop it if he doesn’t like it at first.

But his parents, Jeon Sanghyun, an alpha, and Jeon Jiyeon, an omega, sometimes get worried about this habit. This omega’s parents wanted him to enjoy his life, so this time they decided to spend their summer vacation with the Kims.

Jeon and the Kims have been best friends since no one knows when. It’s weird; they live in different cities, but they always know everything about each other (mostly).

Jungkook loves the Kim couple a lot, but it’s not like he will behave the way he does with his parents or close friends. He is just well-mannered, also a little closer.

Unfortunately, the Kim couple don’t have any children, which is a heartbreaking thing for them. But they love Jungkook just like he is their own child.

“Kookie, have you finished packing?” a beautiful woman in her 40s asked the boy.

“Yes, Eomma, I’m done packing. I’ll just take my charger while going; I need to charge my phone,” the male omega answered.

“Okay, baby. We are going tomorrow morning after breakfast, so sleep early; you have to wake up early tomorrow.”

“Okay, Eomma. I’ll sleep now.”

“Don’t fall asleep while putting your phone on charge,” the woman said while leaving the male omega’s room.

“Okay, Eomma.”

“You... you... who are you? What do... you mean by... it’s a book... You are not real... What are you even saying... By any chance, do you have any mental issues... No, no, don’t leave me... it’s forbidden... we are destined... It’s not possible... You are lying... it’s something you don’t know... I can’t live without you... I... love... you...”

“Jungkook!! Jungkook!!! Wake up! We have to go early! Wake up! I told you to sleep early; we have to go.” The boy finally woke up hearing his eomma’s voice.

Jungkook sat in the middle of the bed. His eomma had already left his room while scolding him for sleeping too much.

Jungkook was lost in thought. He had seen the same dream again, and sadly, again it was unfinished. He didn’t remember everything. He just remembered a few scenes or a few broken sentences with some blurry faces.

He had already had the same dream almost six times. He remembered a few specific things like walls, trees, a fountain, a riverside, and a few other details. But not much.

“JUNGKOOK, DID YOU FALL ASLEEP AGAIN? GET UP AND WASH YOUR FACE. AFTER BREAKFAST, WE ARE GOING TO THE KIMS’ HOUSE!!” Mrs. Jeon yelled from downstairs.
