Author's Notes:
Did you perhaps think we wouldn't have a fever scene in this story?

Feeling weak, he turned, placing his back on the door and let himself slide down to the floor. He wondered if he should just get up and go fetch his stuff, but it was raining outside. Then he wondered if he should just go over to A Random Bar to pick John's keys, the place was even closer than dance club's. But then again, it was raining. Just as he was trying to remember if there was someone he knew in the dorm rooms close by, footsteps approached him.
"Leon?" Nick was standing there, five steps away from him. Leon thought he was never so happy to see the guy in his life.
—
Nick actually had every intention of walking right by Leon and pretending not to see him, but somehow he could feel that something was wrong. He waited a bit but the boy didn't move and his face just grew worse, so he decided to see what was wrong.
"Heey, dickhead" Leon called out, smiling painfully through his fever.
A vein popped on Nick's temple as he crouched down to be on the same eye level, already regretting his decision of speaking up "And just what is this clown doing sitting on the floor?"
"Swimming"
"Goodbye"
As Nick angrily got up to walk away from his kouhai's bullshit, Leon yelled "WAIT" and extended a hand, trying to reach out to the other. Then he slipped on his wet shoes and fell face first, coughing because of his now strained throat.
Noticing that the other boy didn't get up right away, Nick scrambled back and helped Leon off the floor as the boy kept coughing. The younger's eyes were unfocused and his head wobbled a bit.
"Hey, look at me" Nick said and grabbed the other's chin to make him look back "Shit! Leon you're burning up" The older touched his forehead and neck helplessly "Why are your clothes wet?!"
"I was watering the plants" Leon tried hard to focus his eyes on the person in front of him.
"And the hose fought back? Did it rebel??" Nick ironized but Leon just scowled, feeling too sick to explain much. "Where are your keys?"
The first-year shook his head softly "Not here"
"And your friends?"
"Not here"
"Goddamnit" Nick huffed, combing his fingers through his hair. There was no way he could avoid this, he thought and sighed right after "Can you walk?"
"Maybe" Leon coughed.
"You better, otherwise I'll princess carry you aga–"
"I can walk, I can totally walk" Leon stumbled to his feet as fast as he could. His head twirled and he held onto his forehead with one hand. Balancing turned out to be quite difficult and Nick had to hold him in place "Shit" He murmured.
"Same"
Nick supported him as they slowly came up to an elevator and got inside. The second-year pressed a number just above where they were.
"Where are we going?" Leon asked, pressing his forehead against the cold metal.
"...My room"
"...Eh?"
—
"Take your shoes off, don't bring mud in" Nick demanded, still supporting the redhead, who did as told when they got to the door "Also, if Princess doesn't like you, don't worry, she doesn't like strangers in general"
