~Flashback - 12 Years Ago~

Little 3 year old Freya sat in the arms of her 5 year old sister, Juliet, as they watched their parents argue. Freya was trembling in fear as she watched her father yell at her mother. Freya's never liked her father, he is always hitting or yelling at her mom.

"I'm scared, Juliet," Freya softly cried in her sister arms. Juliet held her closer.

"I know," Juliet replied.

Their father punched their mother in the nose and the girls gasped, looking away.

"Mommy!" Freya cried out. "Please don't hurt her!"

Cassandra recovered from the punch and her husband was staring at her with darkened blue eyes filled with rage.

"You are a disgrace. I never should have married you or had those worthless children!" The fathered hissed and Cassandra slapped him across the face. Her husband stumbled back, grabbing his cheek.

"Don't you ever talk about my daughters like that!" She snapped and ran over to her daughters, who ran into her arms.

Their father recovered and chuckled darkly. "Don't you mean our daughters?"

"You're no dad to us!" Juliet cried, holding her sobbing sister close.

"I'm your only one," he said. "Deal with it, you brat!"

He walked over to them with anger and Juliet yelled, pulling Freya away as Cassandra picked up a glass vase and smashed it over his head.

He yelled out as he fell to the ground unconscious.

Cassandra immediately ran over to her phone and called the police. Freya stared at her father and Juliet turned her away from the sight. Freya was in shock and was filled with fear.

"Juliet, take your sister and start packing your stuff. Right now," Cassandra ordered her daughter. She was shaking in fear and was crying, but was holding strong for her daughters.

Juliet took her sister to her bedroom to grab her things.

Cassandra rushed over to her bedroom and packed a few things. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she packed stuff, she tried her best to keep her composure. She's doing it for her daughters.
