~3 Weeks Later~
Juliet was sitting on her bed, staring at the wall in front of her. She was silent, but her mind was filled with facing thoughts. She tried to keep her mind clear, but couldn't do that. This voice had been speaking to her the past 3 weeks and she can't get rid of it. Nor could she figure out who it was.
It wouldn't go away and it continued to get worse. It kept her up at night and she couldn't think straight. However, Juliet has a good poker face and it isn't obvious to those worried her they something is wrong. Juliet just naturally looks mad all the time.
She isn't mad. She is confused. It's gotten to the point where she can communicate with the voice.
Who are you? Juliet thought.
I can't tell you that.
Juliet rolled her eyes. Can you show me?
Tonight, meet me at the abandoned junkyard near Pike's Creek. Come alone and tell no one.
Juliet frowned. That's not suspicious at all.
You want answers. Show up tonight.
Why can't I tell anyone? Juliet thought. She waited for a reply and never got one. She groaned and laid back on her bed, blowing raspberry.
Juliet's phone rang and it was Leo. She answered. "Hey."
"Hey. Is Freya okay? She isn't answering her phone." Leo asked.
"No." Juliet sighed. "She isn't talking to anyone. She barely leaves her room. She is... really hurt by way Chase did."
"Chase keeps calling and texting and is really worried about her. He feels really bad." Leo explained.
"If he is so worried, then why isn't he coming to see her?" Juliet asked. "That's what Freya told me."
"I'm not sure." Leo sighed. "Well, I miss my best friend. Try whatever you need to get her feeling better."
"I'm trying, trust me. Freya is super stubborn." Juliet remarked. "If I get her to feel better and come over, I don't think she wants to see Chase."
"We can make it work where they won't see each other." Leo said and swallowed nervously. "Maybe. He's always here."
