I was walking calmly with the knight through the beautiful forest. At first, it was a bit difficult to keep up with him, but then I discovered that he was wearing special shoes that really increased his speed. I didn't know such shoes could exist! When I finally stopped to catch my breath, I realized that Abdiel had also stopped to talk to a charming elf girl. The girl, who seemed quite striking, had a noticeably red complexion, her white hair tied in two perfectly tied pigtails, and wore a mask that didn't cover her face as it was beside her; perhaps she had difficulty seeing with that mask on.They chatted animatedly for a good while and then decided to challenge each other to an exciting race. That gave me time to recover and enjoy the scenery. When Abdiel returned, he looked very happy, most likely having won the race against the elf girl. First, I congratulated him on his victory and then asked him to slow down a bit so I could keep up without problems. Fortunately, he kindly agreed, and we continued our journey through the forest, this time at a more relaxed and leisurely pace.
While exploring with curiosity, we encountered a mysterious hooded girl dressed in red, as if she had stepped straight out of a Little Red Riding Hood story. She even carried a basket full of delicious fruits. Intrigued by her presence, we decided to follow her steps, and suddenly she surprised us by throwing a goblin at us without warning. Despite this obstacle, we managed to keep up and follow her without any problems. We continued advancing, defeating some goblins and solving a small puzzle we found along our way. Finally, after overcoming several challenges, we arrived at the mysterious place where the hooded girl was hiding.
There we found a great variety of creatures: ogres, goblins, and even an elf girl! The brave knight quickly rushed to the sound of gunshots and witnessed how the mysterious red-hooded elf mistreated an ogre. However, the ogre managed to escape by bumping into the knight. The visibly angry elf complained
Red Riding Hood: Agh! He got away because of you, and on top of that, you have entered my territory.
But Abdiel, even more indignant at the treatment she had given all those creatures, decided to confront her, and I lent him my support. After some intense seconds, we finally managed to defeat her.
When the elf fell, she looked disappointed with herself and resignedly said,
Red Riding Hood: I've lost to the laziest person...
At that moment, a dog on a drone appeared out of nowhere to announce Red Riding Hood's defeat and flew away to inform Red Riding Hood's grandmother. Abdiel laughed and was about to leave, but Red Riding Hood complained again
Red Riding Hood: Look what you've done! A defeat like this can only lead to death. Now it's your duty to protect me since you caused all this in the first place.
Upon hearing the news that she was in mortal danger, Abdiel decided to accept his responsibility and gave her directions to the same place where he had sent the wolf, which, upon listening closely, seemed to be an inn.
After that strange event, we returned to the main path and found two people trapped. From their reactions, I deduced that they were some kind of rivals. However, to my surprise, one of the trapped boys mentioned that the innkeeper had taken a princess, and the girl confirmed his words. Abdiel, incredulous, called out to the innkeeper for answers, but his calls went unanswered. The confusion and disbelief were reflected on the knight's face, who decided to free his rivals for telling the truth. Together, we continued our journey, although Abdiel was still perplexed by what he had just heard.
Noticing his concerning mood, I decided to ask
Coco: Can I ask why you seem sad?
The knight responded in a trembling voice
Abdiel: It's just... I was starting to trust Loraine... Oh, right, you don't know her. Anyway, to summarize, she offered me her help with her inn, this cellphone, and introduced herself as my fairy godmother...
He paused briefly and looked at the ground, visibly distressed
Abdiel: If what they said was true...
The words caught in his throat, and he didn't know how to continue. I decided to comfort him by gently patting his back and said
Coco: Don't worry, maybe it was just a misunderstanding. I'm sure everything will be resolved.
I gave him a small smile, and the knight managed to calm down a bit.
Abdiel: Thank you for accompanying me and for your help
He said with more tranquility in his voice
Coco: You're welcome, now let's move forward and rescue your princess.
Thus, we continued our exciting adventure in the forest, facing new challenges and keeping alive the hope of finding the princess safe and sound.
