I watched as II held her in his tight grip. He sat on the floor leaning against the wall, holding her frail body as tight as possible, it was almost like if he squeezed anymore I fear their body's would become one.

I sat on the chair opposite his distraught being and watched as he stroked his blackened fingers though her messy aubrene hair.

We had tried everything that we could to try and get her to wake up. It had been 3 days now, and usually she should be awake now, even after one of the Sleep trials which I'm guessing is what happened to her.

I sent III and IV to go see Sleep as I fear he is the reason she has not awoken yet, and maybe he can offer us a clue as to how to bring her back. She is not dead... Yet. She had juts been put into a deep sleep, which is what Sleep is known for but if she is left in This state much longer I fear there may be nothing more we can do but wait...

I took a step outside of the cabin to catch a bit of fresh air. I've rarely left to cabin unless absolutely necessary since she has come into this state incase somthing happenes. I mean, what if she wakes up and I'm not there? What if she gets worse... Anything could happen. Even though II, her Brother is there, I still fear for her life in many ways.

I don't know why I feel this way... Connected to her. Maybe
I still love her deep inside. I know I still love her but I can't. I'm not allowing myself to even entertain the thought, it puts us both in too much danger

If I let my feelings get the best of me and cloud out my better judgement she might get more hurt then she already will just living in the land that we thrive in.

She was not ready for this Sleep, I know what you want from me, but I will not be your reflection when it comes to putting people in pain like you have done over and over to me. Just leave her alone, you will drag us all down continuing these antics.

All I ask, my lord. Is that you spare her, don't let her become one like is. Our life is not easy to live, she has not been through as much as the rest of us have been through.

She is not ready.

I haven't been able to think of any idea to help Jade wake up, nothing at all has crossed my mind. We talked to Sleep but he didn't give us anything to work with apart from another one of his dreaded riddles.

'Roads Untraveled are left Unknown. Fallen leaves are left forgotten. The night does not belong to God'

I've been thinking about what it could possible mean, and why he has to over complicate things every single fuckin time.

'The Night does not belong to God', that's that one song we made when we released Sundowing, and it's at the end of Euclid.

I made that song to explain the fact that God can only help those who follow the light. People like us, who live into the shadows over looked by the majority, left forgotten, shunned into the darkest places to be ignored.

But what does that have to do with Jade?

I'm not sure what the rest means but hopefully we'll find out soon

I was deep in thought, thinking of possible solutions for the predicament that had laid itself upon us, when I heard that voice. That familiar soft voice, the soothing sound that makes me relax everytime it sounds in my ears.

"help me"

She husked out in a pained voice, full of despair. I rushed over to her and kneeled down onto the floor next to her. I grabbed her face and looked at her int he eyes, she was still asleep but somehow managed to choke out a couple words.

I stared at her for a moment, full of panic, what if he's loosing the battle against the Eternal Sleep State. The second the thought crossed my mind the familiar smoky smell filled my scent glands.

"Vessel, my child, I must tell you what you need to do" he spoke, but seriousness was laced with his villanis tone, which is not often for the deity known for the way he mocks everyone. Spiteful, but he's till had a tad bit of empathy buried deep beneath the layers of darkness.

"Vessel, I had started the Sleep Trials, but this was not what I expected. I have encountered a minor issue during the process, and I require you or the other Vessels to carry out an errand for me, if you want her to live that is. Otherwise I will have to wipe out her being entirely"

Taken aback by his words I listened eagerly, both confused and surprised that we would admit to coming across a problem that he could not take care of properly

"Sleep, what is the issue, if you don't mind me asking, I don't get why you would have to kill her instead of juts reversing the process and picking someone else, I told you she was not ready for this"

The Dark being was silent for a moment. Taking the time to think about his answer before speaking, but his tone, even though it was authroitive, it also held a tinge of worry, maybe?

"vessel, I will say this so only you can hear, but I'm not exactly sure how to fix this, but I need you to go out and find someone who does"

I widened my eyes in suprise, then I looked at my deity, the stare we gave eachother gave off the silent understanding that he needed help and I would try my hardest to help him out.

I went to his temple, hesitant to leave Jade but it was only for a moment. Sleep released the dark shadowy smoke in the air of his temple. I watched it swirl into shapes as it moved like water through the air.

He would create images in the black smoke to help you better understand what he was trying to explain.

The picture that became painted in the sky was of the woods, the evergreen woods that surrounded us left right and centre. Then there was the sight of somthing that resembled a cave. Through the trees I could see shadows of giant wolf like creatured that paced around the thick trees and darkening mist. The entrance to the cave was just black like the night, it was impossible to see inside form here, and it made me uncomfortable.

"Find this, once you have bring back whoever lays inside the cave. Do whatever it takes to get them here, it's either this or Jade dies"

I nodded undertsanding at Sleeps words and studied the image closely.

"I will bring the others here as well. Now go back and watch over the girl. I'm not quiet sure what she is capable of but I know she is dangerouse. She should never be left alone. Keep her in your sights at all times"

He added. Jade is... Dangerouse? Never, not to me at least, I am much stronger then her. I'm not sure what Sleep has done but he looks scared of what may happen if the issue is not resolved.

What could to poor girl possible do?
