A dubious ally

The Ghost of War

Bumblebee and Strongarm came out of the earth bridge near the entrance to an old abandoned mine. The green vortex closed behind them and the lieutenant got in touch with the base:

"Soundwave, we're here. Has the Decepticon's signal moved somewhere?"

// Is it inside / the mine //  the signalman replied // Probably //

"Are you not sure?"  Bee asked

// Interference / I can't track the signal / Perhaps / Communication / will also be lost //

"I understand you. If we don't get in touch within two hours, then send Sideswipe and Grimlock after us, the leader ordered"

// Accepted / End of communication //  the spy has disconnected

The Autobots entered the mine and turned on the headlights. The ceiling of the tunnel was surprisingly high enough for them to walk at full height. They went deeper into the mine, but so far they have not found any traces of the Decepticon.

"Sir, may I ask you a question?"  Strongarm broke the silence.

"What is it?"  Bumblebee turned to her

"Are you sure about Soundwave?"

"What do you mean?"

"He's a Decepticon and can give us at any moment" replied femme

"Grimlock was also a Decepticon, but he's on our side" retorted the lieutenant

"Grimlock is different. He's just a little clumsy and likes to get into fights, but he's generally harmless, and Soundwave went through the Great War and he tried to kill you the first time we met!"

"Knockout also went through the war and tried to kill me a couple of times, but he turned out to be a pretty good guy. It's a pity that we haven't seen each other lately, as if he's fallen through the ground... AAAAAHHH!!!" the leader fell into the pit

"Lieutenant!"  Strongarm jumped down after the yellow mech

They landed in some kind of cave, which was filled with various junk, like car parts, mining carts and old tools. In the center of the cave was a ruptured stasis capsule, proving the presence of a Decepticon.

"How could the capsule be so deep underground?" femme was surprised

"Probably the Decepticon brought it here, like all the other stuff"

"Who's here?!" someone screamed

Suddenly, a Decepticon appeared in the field of view, looking like a red and black giant mole. His optics were dull white and he seemed to be blind, however, he began to move towards the two Autobots. Bee put a finger to his lips and nodded to Strongarm. She nodded back and they walked in different directions.

"Pathetic bugs! Do you want to hide from the great and mighty Ironmole?! "The Decepticon has transformed "I can't see you, but I can hear your fingers shaking!"

"Then hear it!"

A red plane flew in from the other end of the cave and landed near the Ironmole. It turned out to be Windblade, who also seemed to have detected the Decepticon's signal. The mole rushed at the uninvited guest:

"I'm going to tear you apart!"

"Windblade, watch out!" Strongarm rushed to help her friend

The blue and white femme started shooting at the Ironmole while Windblade attacked her in close combat. Bumblebee also began attacking from the flanks to try to knock out the Decepticon. Realizing that she would not be able to cope with so many opponents, Ironmole tried to escape, but Bee was still able to knock her down and handcuff her.
