Soundwave was chasing a Perceptor who had a map of the location of the Autobot bases. The Decepticon almost caught up with another Cybertronian, but a black car blocked his way. Ironhide transformed and pointed guns at the former gladiator:

"Percy, get out! I will detain him!"

The red Autobot nodded and ran away, but Soundwave released Buzzsaw, who soared into the air and shot at Perceptor. The cyber bird began to dive at the target, but someone shot at its engine from the roof of one of the houses. The yellow minicon was falling rapidly until it crashed to the ground. The spark of the little Cybertronian went out, causing severe pain in the Decepticon's chest. Soundwave took a few steps back and looked around the buildings in a panic, in one of which he noticed a shadow slipping onto the lower floors.

Ironhide charged at the distracted spy and punched him in the face with all his might. The blue mech flew several meters away, but quickly rose. The blow landed on the right side of the mask, from which it cracked and crumbled in places, revealing the turquoise optics of the former gladiator.

The Decepticon looked at the black bot, but out of the corner of his eye he noticed that shadow again. The unknown Cybertronian disappeared behind the column, so Soundwave returned to the fight with the Autobot. Ironhide lunged at the signalman again, but he easily dodged and plunged the dagger between the armored plates of the black mech.

The Autobot fell to one knee and the former gladiator prepared to finish him off, but at the last moment he saw Buzzsaw's killer throw something at them. The Decepticon instinctively jumped away from Ironhide, but it looks like the enemy anticipated his move and the Soundwave turned out to be right on the trajectory of the projectile.

The spy realized his mistake too late and a stun grenade exploded literally near his face. The remnants of the mask shattered into pieces, partially embedded together with the fragments of the grenade in the signaller's face.

The blue mech howled in pain and fell to his knees, his audio sensors were ringing, colored blurred spots floated in front of the optics. Ironhide finally got to his feet and pointed his weapon at the shell-shocked Decepticon...

"Ironhide, we need fire support, urgently" Perceptor contacted him on the radio

"Wait, I'll finish one thing," the black mech replied

Suddenly, someone started firing at the Autobot from behind. Ironhide turned around and tried to identify the source of the threat. The enemy settled in the building opposite and constantly moved, without stopping the shelling.

"Ironhide!"  Percy called out to him again

"Slag! I'm on my way!" the black mech has transformed "Hold on a little longer there!"

Soundwave saw Ironhide drive away and a black blurry figure began to slowly exit the building. It's definitely not an Autobot or a Decepticon, but it seems to be hunting a signalman. Buzzsaw's killer approached the former gladiator and pointed a blaster at him:

"What a pathetic sight..."

The black figure prepared to fire, but he was distracted by a damaged seeker crashing into the building. The spy took advantage of the moment, transforming and knocking down the enemy, and began to retreat to the other Decepticons and his minicons. He still couldn't see well in transport mode, but that was enough to escape.

A blue car was driving at full speed between the destroyed houses, bombs exploded here and there and shots rang out. The Decepticon drove up to the dilapidated bridge and activated energy boosters to fly over the abyss, but pain pierced his body again.
