Woe of the water

Not every chapter is going to go You, Wednesday, You, Wednesday. That is just how these past chapters have happened. So no this is not an on-purpose pattern.

Wednesday sat in the bus as Enid talked to Yoko. Enid and Yoko planned on going on a shopping spree. Something about the new year new clothes. Wednesday simply sat behind them with her Y/N notebook. Wednesday wrote prompts for her own questions.

Enid and Yoko waited with Wednesday. Weems had asked that if students left the school grounds they could stay in groups. It was a mild suggestion at best but Enid was determined to follow it. Wednesday was looking left and right trying to spot Y/N. She also looked around the other side of the street. A grey car pulled up right in front of the 3 that stood on the side of the road. The door opened and Y/N popped out. 

"Thanks, Don!" Y/N says as she exits. 

"I want you back at Nevermore by 10 okay?" The sheriff's voice said. Wednesday bent her body to see the sheriff pointing at Y/N. Wednesday's mind raced with more questions. 

"I'll text you when I get back," Y/N closes the door to the car and turns to Wednesday.

"Hey, Wednesday," Y/N says with a smile. She was wearing a teal sweater with a rose on the right. It seemed there was a button-up white shirt underneath. She had a pleated black skirt and thigh-high white socks. She had black converse with star laces. 'She's beautiful' Wednesday thinks.

"You know the sheriff?" Wednesday asks. Y/N nods in agreement. 

"Should we go to the cafe?" Y/N asked Wednesday. 

"We shall," Wednesday turned her head and saw that Enid and Yoko had left.

Y/N stood slightly behind me as I ordered a black coffee for myself and a hot chocolate for Y/N when I asked if she wanted to order she got nervous. It felt... torturous to help her. It's perfect. 

We sat down in a booth. Y/N sits opposite me. I place my book in front of me and grab out a pen. 

"I have a few quires," I say meeting Y/N's eyes.

"I'll do my best to answer them," Y/N gives a slight smile. I look down at my book for a good first question. 

"What is a crystal?" I ask.

"Our powers come from The Straknoins crystals which were made by the Deities. They each have their own unique power, but they also have powers that are the same across the board," Y/N explained. I write down small notes. 

"Deities?" I ask looking back up at her. 

"The Deities are Fate, Destiny, Time, Void, Luck and Chaos. That's all I know about them really, their names and which Straknoins crystals they are responsible for making," Y/N says. Then the waitress comes over and hands over the drinks our orders. Y/N brings the hot chocolate to her mouth as I continue to write in my book.

"Which Deitie made which crystal?"

"Well... Fate made the light crystal. Destiny the darkness crystal. Time made the earth crystal. Void made the air crystal. Luck made the fire crystal. Chaos made the water crystal which is mine. " Y/N seemed a bit... hesitant. Or perhaps sad?
