Chapter 2: The Guy

His familys broken too, just like mine is. His mother is paranoid about everything or it could be the fact she's worried, afraid to be cheated off again or finding out her son is dead in a ditch. His father goes crazy when his blood sugar is low. His broken, no, shattered heart over an eight year relationship with a girl he made his fiance. Only to throw it out the window. He too is a black sheep of the family. Growing up pretty normal life, up until his dad would have episodes. It would be bad, he'd fight his father just for him to calm down. He has a beautiful german shepherd,  his father took a gun and aimed it at the dog because he wouldn't stop barking. He stood in front and told his father to shoot. His mother is constantly asking where he is, because he's never home, he doesn't want to go home, he is constantly on the road in his jeep. Barely sleeps and when he does it in random parking lots. He's a heavy drinker too, but you wouldn't notice it unless you smelled it on him, he'd have too much, or was his friend.

His eight year relationship, down the drain. She came from a wealthy family, money, a huge house, and a good education. Him? A simple heart country man, made decent money at the butcher shop, simple school system, and a lovely house with his parents. He felt out of place, taking his boots off at the door and being surrounded by people who made him unwelcomed. What did she do? Even though having more money than him, she still used him for money. Even knowing what situations were happening in his family, she still used him. After saying enough is enough he threw both his ring and her ring out the window in the butcher shop parking lot. And after a year from quitting and returning did he find his ring, bringing so much pain.

Trying to fill the void of empty love,he came to me asking if I had any friends he could potentially date. Giving him a few girls and denying them all. I tried hooking him and my half sister up, but she ended up being as crazy as my mother. After text all night through the morning we open up on how broken and depressed we truly are.

That day at work, we vibed together. Getting each other threw the day, coming to the end of the day he said we needed to talk. Little did I know that that talk was going to change my life forever.

Could we be more than friends? Are we more than friends? Would he slow down drinking just for me? Would he accept a packaged deal, for my son and I?
