Chapter 10

Alicia woke up, feeling lightheaded. She rubs her forehead to relax herself and look around the room. She founds herself in the bedroom. But it wasn't any type of bedroom she recognised. Suddenly, she heard the door creak open and there was a woman carrying a tray with her. "Oh Alicia, you're awake." She noticed her awaken. Alicia sat up properly. Her head is still sore. "Woah woah, Easy there dear, you're still weak here..." The woman mentioned, she came near her and put the tray beside the nightstand.

"W-what h-happened..? Where am...I?" Alicia asked, feeling confused and dizzy. "You're in my family's house, I patched you up here. You look in difficult situations so I took care of you." The woman responded. Alicia nodded in return. She looks friendly enough and she thinks she's a slightly older than her but she didn't remember seeing her anywhere before.

"Who are you?"

"Oh, I suppose my brother hasn't tell you about me yet."

"Your brother?" Alicia asked. Her brother? 'Since when I know her brother?' She thought.

"I'm Gemma." She introduced herself. Alicia's even more confused other than understand. She tilts her head to let her know. "I suppose you still don't understand. But you'll get there. My brother took you here when you got knockout. And-"

"Gemma, I need you down here." Another voice coming presumably downstairs. "Oh, someone's calling me, I better go. I brought you some food and drinks. Hopefully you'll better. I come back to you soon." Gemma said as she stood up and left the room. Alicia looks around, she's in the new area. The bedroom looks like the man's bedroom. But she doesn't know who is it from. Obviously it's not that woman, named Gemma.

She looks beside her, she sees the tray that had a a bowl of soup and a glass of water. She suddenly feel starving though, she carefully took the bowl and place on her lap. It was warm enough for her to hold it. Alicia eats the soup, it was appetising. She finished it and put the bowl on the tray and take the glass of water to drink. She puts the glass back down. She sees the tray was about to fall, she adjusts it then she heard a paper sound fell. Alicia looks beside and see a paper fell. She reach to grab it and was about to put it back but curiosity got the better of her. She reads what the paper was written on it.

Harry, I understand what you're going through. But your group are not strong enough to challenge him. I don't want to see you take the big risk like this. Especially you got a girl with you. Please, whatever you do...I want you to be ready enough and...don't get killed...especially by him...he's way too strong...

That's all. Alicia suddenly noticed that a word. "Especially you got a girl with you..." Was that girl that was mentioned...her..? If it is, what's it got to do with her? Also, who is the guy that was mentioned on the writing? And, who is Harry? 'Was he...the man I was with?' She thinks again...

Alicia puts the letter back on the nightstand. Where it was hidden but then noticed an envelope that was already opened and...ripped... she took it and decided to read. Maybe she could understand this situation better.
