Here's the latest chapter! Sorry for the long wait, things got kinda weird a few months back, what with my boyfriend breaking the screen of my laptop. Whatever, here it is, chapter four. ENJOY!

Harry’s POV

Slowly, I entered the room. I made my footsteps as light as possible. I thought she was asleep. But, I was wrong.

“Please go away,” she whispered.

“It’s me, Sane,” I said. “I’m here to apologize again.”

“It was you?” she asked in total surprise. “I can’t believe it. Why do people hurt me for no reason whatsoever?”

“Is there something wrong?” I asked her.

“Yes, Sane, there is something very wrong,” she said to me. She seemed on the verge of crying. “Why do I always seem to piss off the people around me? Why? I pissed off my friends. I pissed ‘Ajax’ off. I’m probably pissing you off too. Hell, I’m even pissing myself off. I can’t take it. What was my purpose of being born anyway? To piss people off?”

“I don’t think so. You’re a very nice person Kay. You just don’t realize it. I cut you and you can still assure me that you’re okay. I was surprised at your reaction. I thought you would be the same. But somehow, not being around them changed you a lot,” I said as gently as possible. “Maybe it’s for the best that you don’t think about them at all.”

“I’d love to, but I can’t. You wanna know the reason why I changed? I changed coz, right from the beginning of the friendship; they’ve been persuading me to change. I changed fully right after the fight coz I thought they’d notice. But I guess they didn’t,” she said.

I lay down next to her. I just kept talking. I didn’t even notice she had fallen asleep again. I sang her favorite song for her. Her lullaby, which was conveniently titled Kay’s Lullaby. I sang it a couple of times. I looked at her and hugged her close to me.

I wish I could stay like this with her forever. I remembered the time she stayed over at my house. My parents were out and she had a quarrel with her family. I welcomed her to my house in open arms. She told me all her problems. She also apologized on how she acted rude whenever I gave her one of my ‘long lectures’.

She stayed in my arms throughout the whole night. When I woke up in the morning, I saw that I alone. I thought she had gone home. However, when I went into the kitchen, I discovered that she was helping my mother make breakfast. My mom was actually smiling. Unbelievable. After Kay left, my mother pulled me aside.

“Who is she, Kimmy?” she asked, saying my childhood nickname.

“She’s my best friend, mum,” I answered.

“You should bring her over more often. She’s a wonderful girl,” said my mother.

I loved that memory the most. Whenever Kay came by, my mother always seems to smile. Soon, it was my turn to fall asleep…

Asriel’s POV

I didn’t know why, but Anderson took Kay’s diary, MP3 and sketchpad to ‘Joker’s’ room.

“What are you doing?” I asked him suspiciously.

“Nothing,” he lied. I just shrugged my shoulders. I just went back to the kitchen.

“I wonder what Kay sees in Anderson?” asked Hazen.
