The Universe is everything that exists: all of space, time, matter, and energy. It includes all the planets, stars, galaxies, and everything else in space. It is 13.8 billion years old.
The shape of the Universe is a concept explored in cosmology, and it can be understood in terms of its curvature. There are 3 main possible shapes:
1. Spherical Universe or Positively curved Universe.
2. Flat or Euclidean Universe
3. Hyperbolic Universe or Negatively curved Universe.
The shape of the universe is closely related to its overall density and mass-energy content.
Scientists think the universe could be flat, like a sheet of paper, or curved in different ways. Imagine if you traveled far enough in one direction, you might end up back where you started (like walking around the Earth), or you might just keep going forever.
