The game had come to an end . . . Golden State had prevailed in their first home game of the season. As the players made their way in and out of the locker room, our 3 siblings were making their way out of the stadium. At least Malaysia was trying to.

"Wait one more picture."  Melanie pleaded with her 19 year old sister as the young girl stood in center court. Sighing once again, for what seemed like the millionth time that night.  "Just hurry up, I have orientation tomorrow. Isiah take her picture."  snapping her brother's attention as he was drooling over the Golden State dancers. "Man, when I make it out watch me go straight here." sucking his teeth he takes the camera from his eager young sister.

"Hate to disappoint baby brother, but it's not that easy."  Shrugging her shoulders Malaysia looked around the large and now close empty stadium. It gave off a weird vibe that the young woman just wasn't feeling.  "Alright we'll see about that when you see me on the big screen."  the young boy smirked as he continues to snap the pictures of the youngest of the three.

"Well just don't get your hopes up to high, realistically"  as tiredness lingered in her voice she couldn't let her sentence finish as a new presence took control of the conversation. "If you work hard enough you never know."  quickly all 3 of the Jackson siblings turn around abruptly. Malaysia was taken back at the young man that hovered over her and her siblings. Instinctively as the oldest she made sure both of them were behind her, which proved to be useless as squeals of excitement came from not only Melanie but Isiah too.

Confusion struck over her as the new man chuckled taking pictures with the two. "Excuse me."  taking a fake cough to draw some attention the man looked up from the two teenagers and over to the woman he had eyed from across the arena, little to her knowledge of course. Obviously it was no accident Klay just came across the 3 siblings, it wasn't exactly on purpose either. The locker room as cleared out, and as the young man made his way through the cleared stadium he noticed the 3 in center court.

"Malaysia, this is Klay Thompson. Starting line."  a rush of embarrassment rushed over Isiah at his clueless sister. "Oh. Nice to meet you Mr.Thompson."  awkwardness began to creep into the quiet arena, except for Melanie's thumbs going to work against the keyboard of her android. "Did you all enjoy the game tonight? It was a great win."  wanting to keep the small talk. More importantly get more information on the young woman he had his eye on.

"It defiantly was great didn't you have 20 points? 5 rebounds,2 assist? I mean not that I was paying attention to just you, I watch the game in general."  As the words came out his mouth at what seemed to be like 60 mph Isiah felt glee take over his body. He was having an actual conversation with one of his favorite players in the league. The feeling however, wasn't mutual for Klay. The boy was beginning to bore Klay with the ever ending knowledge and facts. He wanted to make a move, and he wanted to make it then and there.

"It means so much to see young dudes like you paying so much attention to the game, no doubt if you have that much heart I'll might just see you on the court one day."  sending a winning smile to the teenager he caught an idea. "If you want, you can come to our open house practice tomorrow. Plus your sisters of course, I could introduce you to coach and some of the other players. It's good to see a die hard fan."  playing the 'amazing role model' always went over well when he was trying to win the heart of women.

"Really? You're not joking me? We'll be there."  answering for all of them Isiah cheesed. "No, actually we won't be. I have somewhere to be, and our parents have work." nudging her brother, frustrated that he was acting like everything ran on his schedule. "Well, I'm sorry to hear that." the mixed man furrowed his eyebrows, what could she possibly have that was so important she'd pass up a chance to come to an NBA broadcasted practice.

"Can you two head out, we need to get going. I left my bag in the stands, I think."  realizing the lack of her cheap purse from her hands she eyed the seats where they had been. The two younger siblings rolled their eyes as they said their painfully hard goodbyes to the NBA star.

Malaysia made her way to the seat she had been seated at, finding the purse that she'd had almost since freshman year of high school, and would come along with her as she embarked the trip of college. It was the only thing that seemed to be constant in her life, it was a gift from her now late grandmother. As crazy as the obsession was it was something she cherished.

"You and your siblings are really different, you seem quiet."  turning around to notice Klay was still behind her, didn't he have better things to do? Though she was raised to be a well mannered woman so she kept the conversation going. "Yeah, they are pretty outgoing. I'm more of an introvert."  she looked up with a warm smile on her face. The smile that seemed as a friendly gesture send Thompson's heart thumping, causing a goofy like smile. "I never got your name."  scratching the back of his head, he was confused that the feeling of nervousness that was coming over him.

"I'm Malaysia, and it was great meeting you. But I really have to get going."  rubbing her hands on her sides, she began creeping around the man. Though Malaysia hadn't really shown she thought it, she thought man was very attractive. His tall frame, white smile, and voice. Very much a good package, but thinking about an NBA player in such a way? It was a waste of time, she knew she wasn't ugly but he probably had seem way more exotic women than the young 19 year old.

"Oh yeah, it is pretty late. Maybe I'll see you around LA or something. I hope I do."  he collected his bag looking down at the small woman. LA? Did she appear as the type of woman who lived the high end life in LA? Something about that assumption made the young lade smile. Normally she'd tell anyone where she was from, inner Oakland. The land of police sirens and drug dealers, but at the same time. The land of cookouts, laughs, and family loving. Though this time, she found herself keeping the information of where she was really from to herself. She was in fact for the first time ashamed of being from Oakland. Once the man knew where she was really from, would he assume she was some 'hoodrat'? Most people in fact did.

"LA, is a big place. But hey maybe."  chuckling ready to escape the lie she had just lead on.

Little did the young woman know, it wouldn't be the first time lies would escape her mouth when dealing with our NBA star. . .

"Before you go can I get your number?"
