Moon and Solar were good friends, they worked together on projects, devices, creations, etc. They formed a close bond just before Solar's death, Ruin decided to blow up over 5,000 dimensions to eliminate the creators council and unfortunately Solar's dimension has one of these creators causing his death. Moon hit an all-time low after that and tried everything in his power and knowledge to bring him back. After what felt like months and Moon was starting to go insane, snapping at family members and friends, neglecting his health, and overall being a pathetic mess, Eclipse snapped moon out of it by revealing he knew a way to bring him back without a need to kill anyone else. Eclipse simply copied his own code, copied his dimensional signature, modified it to be Solar's and started construction on a new body for him. Moon finally felt a strong wave of relief he hadn't felt in such a long time. After a few months Solar arrived to the daycare with Eclipse assisting him in. Moon with his family and friends were notified and they all reunited with Solar on their own time. When Moon finally saw Solar again he hugged him tightly starting to tear up almost immediately. After that whole shenanigan things started going back to normal, Moon and Solar went back to working on things but started hanging out more building an even stronger bond than before. Eventually anytime one of them even heard the other be it their name or the sounds of their approach they'd feel a gush of a strange yet positive feeling. It felt good nonetheless but still strange and unusual, they knew it was common to get excited over hearing someone you care about but this.. no this felt different.. could it be something else like..?

No, probably not..

But..

One day, Moon was coding something on the computer and boy was he struggling. He was quite sleep deprived and hadn't charged in a few days so that was no surprise. Eventually he got tired of messing up and slammed the desk with his fist in frustration. He sat there wallowing in his anger until he felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up and jumped in his seat in surprise as he saw Solar standing over him. "Don't do that." Moon scolded as he held his forehead in his hand, rubbing it in annoyance mixed with relief. Solar responded "You shouldn't be forcing yourself to work this late Moon.". Moon scoffed and continued working on the code, still messing up repeatedly. Solar tried shaking Moon's shoulder gently to get his attention, when Moon didn't budge Solar tried waving his hand in front of Moon's face but Moon just brushed it away with his own hand and mouthed "Stop.". Eventually Solar got fed up so he went behind Moon and spun his chair around to face Solar. Solar then gripped his hands onto the arm rests of the chair and towered over Moon. (No romance yet ya dirty minded fellows) "I'm not leaving till you take a break and charge for a while.". Moon looked up at Solar with an annoyed look before speaking. "You think standing here will make me choose to take a break? This code needs to be done today otherwise I'm not gonna finish it because I will be busy for these next few days with other things.". Solar sighed heavily before looking up. "Hey computer? Do you think you could finish the code moon was working on?" The computer soon replied after scanning the code. "Yes, it will take me about 7 hours but it is doable.". Solar looked back at Moon who had a defeated and dumbfounded look on his face. He had been so out of it that he didn't even think to ask the A.I to help. He let out a long sigh as he tried standing up but stumbled a bit due to his weakened eye coordination. Solar hovered his hand behind Moon before putting it back to his side as Moon regained balance. "Go the hell to sleep man." Solar commented. Moon just rolled his eyes and placed down a portal as Solar followed. Moon walked into his room and collapsed into his bed as Solar watched in order to make sure Moon actually went to sleep. Solar just stood at the door and turned off the light as he watched for a few minutes. Moon's star patterns on his hat and pants glowed in the dark a bit which made it easier for Solar to see. To be honest he wasn't familiar with that feature since it was meant for kids to be able to see moon during nap time, but it did look cool, pretty even. Solar stepped close to Moon's bed and absently admired the soft glow. (Is bro a moth-?) He didn't even notice how close he actually was till his hand grazed against the bedsheets. He flinched back into reality as he heated up in surprise and quietly exited the room. He went downstairs and knocked out on the couch.
