The dark, antagonising voice of Lucius echoes through her mind as she painfully watches the love of her life fight, not paying any attention to a battle of her own. "Don't worry. Soon after, you will join me and be happy in my perfect world." He said before releasing a spell with an enormous amount of power, enough to-

"Like hell I will." Yuno cut his spell off before it could reach him, and matched it with his own. He summoned a spell that would cause great damage, but not enough to prevail over his attack.

An extreme and blinding load of power can be felt and seen by the entire Clover Kingdom. Making almost everyone halt and pay attention to the raging war between the two.

Noelle's heart was beating out of her chest. Her eyes widened as the world seemed to stop. She takes a step back as her shoulders loosened and her hands start trembling.

She was about to lose Yuno, the love of her life, the man who brought light into her life of eternal darkness, the man who has always been by her side through the ups and downs, through her lowest and highest.

She couldn't even bear the thought of that before this godforbidden war she wasn't even sure she could move on from, yet now, she was fully experiencing it.

A few moments after clashing their weapons yielding such great power, a deafening and blinding explosion spread through all of Clover Kingdom, possibly the entire continent as well. The ground shakes as Noelle drops to her knees, her hands keeping her steady. And she doesn't seem to notice the yells and screams of the people around her, most likely the Golden Dawn members. Her opponent almost loses her balance, yet manages to stand up shakily.

The sight after was no better.

Yuno was on the ground, in a pool of blood, his lip cut, bruises all over. Noelle couldn't breathe. Her heart is racing and she can't seem to make her brain work. Just as she was about to reach for him-

She wakes up, gasping for air, with tears on both of her cheeks. She can't breathe. Her hands are shaking as she tries to bring them to her chest to help ease the pain she's feeling.

The white noise increases volume as her vision starts to blur and her breathing doesn't seem to stabilise any more.

Her head is pounding, overwhelmed by the emotions she's feeling all at once. She turns her head and notices the locket Yuno gave her as a gift.

“Hey princess.” Yuno called out to her. She turns her head around to look at him, her dress flowing around elegantly as she turns. A smile and a light pink blush on her pretty face is what greets him. Noelle runs over to cup his face and kiss him softly on the lips.

He pulls away, and is amazed by the beauty of his partner. “Oh my god, you're beautiful, I don't think I can take my eyes off of you tonight.” He chuckles faintly. He now has plenty of butterflies in his stomach as he holds her waist, his heart beating out of his chest while her hands are on it.

“Keep it in your pants idiot! But, thanks.. I spent a long time on this look.” she grumbled. Noelle raises her head slightly, in a confident and proud manner, the edges of her lips curving up modestly. They had been comfortable enough with each other, even before they started dating, to let loose a little and show off personalities they don't usually show other people.

“The dress is a bit uncomfortable though.” She tilted her head a minimal amount and complained about her white and lavender coloured dress, with fluffy off-shoulder sleeves, curved light purple overlays that increase as the dress goes down, some flowers on the first and second layers, and a white corset that was a bit too tight for her liking.
