It had been a while since the students and their chaperones arrived and checked in at the Domino Suites Hotel and the boys and girls had their own rooms separate from them. Even Dr. Crowler and Bonaparte had their own room for the duration of their stay. Maria was sharing a room with Blair and Alexis while Jolene was sharing one with the other girls. Unpacking their cases and overnight bags, Maria took a look at the box that Chazz had given her the evening before. Untying the ribbon, she removed the lid and her eyes widened in awe. Inside was a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline, a fitted boned bodice with a horizontal tuck at the centre bustline, waisted and a full circle skirt, all in a shade of pastel evening blue. Also inside was a matching cardigan made of soft mohair, pumps and a rose hair accessory of the same colour.
"Whoa, can't believe Chazz would get you something like that." Alexis was stunned upon seeing what was in the box. "I'm still surprised that you're teaming up with him but this?"
"Yeah, like that is so unexpected of him." Blair chimed in.
"But why would Chazz ask me out all of a sudden?" Maria was still confused about it. "I mean we have been working together and became tolerant of each other's presence but..for some reason, I feel so...drawn to him all this time since he asked me to team with him. Besides, I've never even went on a date with anyone before." She sat down on the bed, feeling overwhelmed by her nerves.
Blair and Alexis sat by each side of Maria to give her reassuring comfort.
"I know this is new to you in a way but you must realise that it's something wonderful that could happen to anyone." Alexis reassured.
"Alexis' right. Besides, it'll all be worth it in the end." Added Blair.
A knock on the door alerted the three girls, getting their attention.
"Hello? Do I hear someone in need of a confidence boost?" A voice behind it called.
Alexis knew that voice well. "Atticus." The dark blonde girl got up to answer the door.
Atticus came swooping inside in a theatrical manner. "I sense you have a case of the first date jitters, am I correct?"
Maria nodded, admitting. "Yeah, if you put it that way..."
The dark brown haired male flashed a beaming smile. "Well, all you need is a little boost in your confidence for your evening. And we are gonna help you out." He gestures to his sister and Blair. "First things first, we're gonna help you prepare for the evening."
Nervousness replaced with determination, Maria nodded in agreement.
"Alrighty ladies, let's get to work!"

Inside an en suite bathroom, the rushing of shower water was raining down, mixing with the music playing from the little radio. The bathroom sink was littered with various bottles of cologne and other things for washing up. The Ojama trio stood among them as their boss was taking a shower. There was steam filling up the room.
"Looks like tonight's the night for the boss, wouldn't you say?" Ojama Yellow piped up.
"Definitely. I wonder what that Salerno's place is like." Replied Ojama Black.
"Here's hopin' he doesn't mess up." Added Ojama Green. "Wish we could go with him though."
